As I said in last seasons competition, if you follow the George Graham method of predicting scores, you will not be far wrong. Essex took that advice on board, and adopted that as his prediction method for this season, and look where it got him

New rule for next season.
You can't predict the same scoreline in more than 2 games in any one round.
Years ago at work when we ran a similar competition, points were weighted dependant upon your prediction and actual score.
Thus if the actual score was 4-0 someone who predicted 3-0 or 4-1 got more points that someone predicting 1-0.
Obviously a lot more administration required, so I am not suggesting this, as I'm not the one running it, just offering it as an idea, even if it means that I would be disadvantaged
Remember that 1-0 and 0-1 are different scorelines
Maybe banning those scores would be the answer although we’d then have to put way more thought into our predictions
