Been unlucky with some results the last couple of weeks. Missed out on some exact results by the odd goal, simply because I didnt think anyone get 6 goals or 4 goals. Going to carry on with some hail mary results to try and catch Aski and the leaders Spurs v Brighton 4-0 Man Utd v Norwich 3-0 Soton v Arsenal 1-1 Watford v Brentford 1-1 Newcastle v Leicester 0-3 West Ham v Burnley 3-0
Spurs 2-0 Brighton Man Utd 3-0 Norwich Soton 0-2 Arsenal Watford 1-2 Brentford Newcastle 2-2 Leicester West Ham 2-0 Burnley
Spurs 2-1 Brighton Man Utd 3-0 Norwich Soton 1-2 Arsenal Watford 1-2 Brentford Newcastle 1-1 Leicester West Ham 1-0 Burnley
As I said in last seasons competition, if you follow the George Graham method of predicting scores, you will not be far wrong. Essex took that advice on board, and adopted that as his prediction method for this season, and look where it got him

No one listens to me anyways Essex. It's not as if I didn't mention this during last seasons competition or before the start of this seasons
New rule for next season. You can't predict the same scoreline in more than 2 games in any one round.
Years ago at work when we ran a similar competition, points were weighted dependant upon your prediction and actual score. Thus if the actual score was 4-0 someone who predicted 3-0 or 4-1 got more points that someone predicting 1-0. Obviously a lot more administration required, so I am not suggesting this, as I'm not the one running it, just offering it as an idea, even if it means that I would be disadvantaged
Spurs 3 seagulls 1 Scum 2 canaries 0 Saints 1 gunners 2 Hornets 1 bees 2 Toon 1 foxes 2 Hammers 2 thugs 1
Maybe banning those scores would be the answer although we’d then have to put way more thought into our predictions
Maybe introduce a “Joker” each round. Something along the lines of the option to nominate a game to have more than 4 goals scored and you get 10 bonus points if you play the joker and get the scoreline correct. Entry would just have to predict a scoreline with at least 4 goals scored and put Joker next to it. You don’t have to use it but can if you wish
Lol, its taken me a whole 60 seconds too work out a strategy for next season, don't be putting spokes in the wheel before I'm even able to enact it
