... before RTB jumps in with his little effort, bless him <laugh>

Watford seemed to have landed on a gem with Tom Cleverley but he's only won 7 of 17 games now and Watford were all over the place at Norwich where they lost 4-1 and should've been more. They've not won in their last three games so I'm hoping they'll be a bit too eager to attack and allow us in behind.

They also have a trip to Man City, tomorrow night, where I'm hoping they're still in the game until the end, penalties would be nice to drain them a bit further. Cleverly will be keen to have a go at Man City as he was at United for years.

I was due to go but the tickets are scarce, Watford is always popular and, 'for some reason' wink wink, the demand this time was crazy. I did have a ticket but I've let one of our exiles have it having booked flights on the off chance.
It's a bit off the wall but my three permanent memories of Watford are singing 'Sunderland staying up, Mags are going down' for almost an entire game, a League Cup quarter final we won with a massive deflection and trudging through the allotments from the pub to the ground.

Oh, and singing rude songs about Rocket Man <laugh>

One of my abiding memories of Watford is during the Peter Reid days....when the song "Cheer up Peter Reid" first came out to the Monkees music.
We'd parked up and were walking down to the ground and a Sunderland lad drove slowly past, windows down, with the CD blaring out of his car stereo.
The whole place lit up....everyone singing....Watford lads hadn't a clue! ****ing magic!

Found this on a Sunderland facebook page in case anyone has not seen it

The Watford stewards think they're a paramilitary force fighting the forces of evil.

The queue for the away end is slowed down by searches and ticket checks that sometimes happen three or four times before you reach the turnstile. Anyone as much as clapping out of turn, in the home sections, is marched out as if they're on their way to the gallows, complete with Watford fans denouncing them as if they've been doing a Rolf Harris with their kids.

It's all a bit of a pantomime with Watford as the evil baron and the Sunderland supporters as Prince Charming <laugh>

Some of our lads were batting a ball about the last time we were there....so they missed that in their search.:emoticon-0103-cool: Mind you,it went over the hoarding and was confiscated, although they gave it back after a while.<laugh>

I'm bumping this for you in case anyone sees it ...

... but also to say I'm currently chasing one for you, it exists but a few are after it.

I'm hoping my reminders of previous favours, I've done, will sway it for us <laugh>
Cheers mate <cheers>
This one sold out at 20+ points

I was reading their forum posts and they seem a bit gutted by the squad they have, Ryan Porteous seems like a liability.

Andrews their right back apparently isn't much of a defender.

So if they're selected, I'd hope we can get after them.
