The Billy Bly Trophy will not be contested by the first team this season, instead it will be the U23's that take on North Ferriby.
Well, last year it was effectively the U23 team plus Elmo. It was slightly disappointing on the day considering it was the first team the year before, at least this year people know in advance and less grumbling in the stands.

The Under-23s have had three further pre-season friendlies confirmed as part of their preparations ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

It has already been announced that Jon Beale’s side will begin their pre-season campaign with a trip to North Ferriby United for the Billy Bly Memorial Trophy on Saturday 15th July (KO 3pm).

And it has now been confirmed that the young Tigers will also face further fixtures away at Bridlington Town, Shaw Lane and Aberystwyth Town.

After returning from a training camp in Spain, the Under-23s will take on Bridlington Town at Queensgate on Saturday 29th July (KO 3pm) before taking on Shaw Lane AFC on Wednesday 2nd August (KO 7.45pm).

The Tigers will then round off their preparations for the new season with a trip to Wales to face Aberystwyth Town - who are managed by former Tigers Academy Manager Tony Pennock - on Sunday 6th August (KO 2pm).

Seems sensible. I think my neighbour has book to go out, he'll no doubt be chuffed.

Pussies.

Bit of warm weather training did me no harm. I spent most of it pissed but still managed a solid 90 minutes plus 3 additionals on Sunday.

Pussies.
