The Tigers’ pre-season schedule is starting to take shape with training dates and the first two warm-up fixtures now confirmed.

The first team squad will return to training on Monday 3rd July to begin preparations for the 2017/18 campaign and will spend seven days on home soil before flying off to Portugal for a training camp on the Algarve.

As part of the trip to Portugal the team will play two pre-season fixtures, facing Oxford United on Saturday 15th July before lining up against Bristol Rovers on Tuesday 18th July. Both games will be played at Estadio da Nora, home of FC Ferreiras, in Albufeira with both kicking off at 6.30pm.

The squad will then head for home on Sunday 23rd July with further pre-season fixtures to be confirmed in due course.

Fixtures for the 2017/18 Sky Bet Championship season are released on Wednesday 21st June, with the new campaign kicking off on Saturday 5th August.

I'm sure I saw mention somewhere of Marco Silva already arranging preseason suring the season. So probably just acting on his plans.

Been twice now, both times against massive opposition. SAFC and SWFC. The football was cack but it beats ITFC away on a Tuesday night in Feb.
Think I preferred Zell am See and Salzburg, but hey ho.
Sir Cliff's vineyard is nearby, if you enjoy seeing grapes growing on vines in fields.

Full marks, for a refreshing change, for the club announcing this nice and early. 58 quid weekly return on Ryanair, bargain! It'd be rude not to attend.

Where you looking, it's fifty quid from Leeds.

I'm not looking, I have just enough sense to let someone else book the flight and accommodation. He tells me he likes doing it and I appreciate him doing so, and I'm more than happy to let him, whatever the price.

First team will be playing Oxford Utd in Albufeira on the same night.

Isn't the Billy Bly Trophy normally held a bit later in July?

no friendly against real madrid or barcelona?
