Maybe we can be forced to sell him to a league he belongs in....the SPL or Championship. <whistle>
 
From what I've read 5 of the new players are loans from Udinese, which the new owners also own. Apparently the Watford supporters club are worried that they will become a feeder club for them.

Was reading about this and then browsing the bbc article and comments from watford supporters

The Watford Supporters Trust have, in many people's eyes, been wrong about every single thing they've ever said publicly over the last few years. The vast majority of us are looking forward to this.

Can only repeat other comments by actual Watford fans saying that we are most definitely not a feeder club and the alleged concerns of WST are not representative of the majority of supporters at Vicarage Road. This promises to be an exciting opportunity and interesting times await us. Please BBC stop repeating the WST nonsense in every Watford article.

The match tonight is NOT postponed as is being reported on BBC etc. It has just been put back 5 minutes so it is being played at 00:05 on Wed 01 August rather than at 24:00 on Tuesday 31 July.

And yes YV, I will be staying up to watch it.
 
Apparently Tainio might be injured, shame cos I was looking forward to rolling back the years watching him play.

Him being injured is also quite a lot like rolling back the years to when he was with us though, YV! <laugh>
Good player when he was available, though.

Fair point guys, I'll always remember him as an integral member of the "lets play a right footed cente mid on the left wing" sides of the Jol era :D

I liked Jol's insistence on the 'front 6', and that we don't need two wingers, backed him all the way on both those judgements.

But thought when it came to the big games, for whatever reason(s) he was a loser.

His stupid idea of playing Keane and Defoe v Grimsby also bugged me big time, as did .... I'll leave it there :o
