Not sure where this post fits so I'll shove it on here. I was pre-occupied with the Sunderland game so didn't really pay attention to the other Championship results. Having just looked there seems to have been a few that go against the predictions and current narrative, pretty much like our result tbf. It's early days, so a lot can change, but teams like Southampton will be realising that things won't be as easy as they might've thought. Southampton 68% possession, two shots, no goals - lost Leicester 64% possession, one shot, no goals - lost Blackburn 58% possession, four shots, no goals - lost Norwich 63% possession, five shots, one goal - lost Stoke 60% possession, one shot, no goals - lost West Brom 62% possession, five shots, one goal - lost So each six teams, who might've expected at least a draw, had much more possession yet managed two goals between them and all lost ... ... which goes to show that having the ball means very little if you're not brave and decisive. Sunderland only had the ball for thirty minutes but had five efforts on target, pretty efficient and it should've been more
Wouldn't want to, I like being me ... ... endlessly entertaining and I never know what will happen next. Keep your fingers crossed and my flight down, on Saturday, might be cancelled
Have a good flight, hope you hate the match and all of the beautiful hoops, but get back safe and sound
Little prediction, but I would be shocked if Dack plays. He’ll be fired up to play against Blackburn, and I’m not sure Mowbray will pay him twice in 4 days. think it will be Bellingham behind one of our strikers, with Bellingham to rotate out against Blackburn. lovely having options
Brilliant match report. I can remember when the same could have applied to us. It’s nice to be on the laughing side. Thanks Snaggey.
