What a sad and bitter bunch of Wurzels you are. I hope you enjoy yourselves and you get the ground you deserve.
Sad and bitter? From what I have read on here you have pretty universally been praised for your football, congratulated on having such a strong squad playing so well and received confirmation from rival fans that promotion to the Premiership is almost a formality for you now? You have also been honestly told by people who visited last saturday that your stadium was not much liked and most fans felt the atmosphere has suffered for that, they also question why you have so feebly rolled over to be tickled by foreign owners who have found a new plaything! Changing your home strip from Blue to Red, I ask you! and without hardly a squeak, no wonder the English found it so easy to conquer your nation! You also forget that the truth is we don't really care what you do, at the end of the day if you want to roll over like that We don't care! You are the epitome of modern football to me at the moment and quite frankly you can keep it. Personally I would rather play football at Ashton Gate with all its foibles and issues than change 100 years of our clubs history for a season or two at the top level. I ask seriously Will it have been worth it? Sad and bitter, anyone reading this thread will judge for themselves who is sad and bitter..
Sorry Banksy, but you're wrong mate - some of your guy's replies reek of it. Wasting your time with this Red Alert guy Bluey, and a few others on here, sad and bitter is spot on. I was going to say they are as poor on here as their football team but that would be unfair - **** all is as poor as that. No wonder some are so depressed to the point that manic isn't a strong enough adjective.. Now they've lost access to the old jibes like "administration", "bankruptcy", 10 point deductions, "HMRC at the door" and the rest of their sniggereing claptrap, they latched on to something else to try and beat us over the head with. The new kids on the block now are "foreign owners", "franchise", "sold your souls" and "tin pot stadium" and anything else they can use to cover their own desperate inadequacies like an owner who makes the right noises but does **** all, a collection of sheds that they call a football ground, a joke of a team that shouldn't even be imposed on League One, and a manager who has been given the thankless task of turning around this lumbering dinosaur of a club. They keep banging the drum about our crap stadium and cite this this ideal stadium they are going to get as the esoteric answer to to the future of their club. It's like the bloke who goes out and buys a three grand pair of speakers for his hifi that he's read are the dog's bollucks in an audio magazine. The fact is the difference from his current ones are so minute, it's only measurable on an analyser. I still play my stuff through my 25 year old Linn Sondek LP12 deck with an Ittok/Isak arm and cartridge, an A&R Cambridge SA200/C200 pre - power amplifier combo through a pair of Heybrook HB3s on stands. Just for Angelic (and anyone else who's interested) I'll leave you with some Gillen/Richie Blackmore and the lads live - enjoy this if you can't your football. Reply to Old Sparky and Red(Blue?)fromBridgend Sorry Wize I thought they were doing the YMCA dance you mean there is some other meaning to that? I read with interest the bit describing how the CCS got built fair enough if the fans had no input then hardly their faults the ground is so dead acoustically perhaps they still sing as loudly as ever just no longer come across the noise from the home fans even at 2 up was so muted didn't come across on the TV streaming or the Radio. Sad and Bitter mmmmm Yes I'm sad because of where we are in the table Bitter no thanks don't drink. I am half welsh my mothers family come from Pentyrch and when I was young was often taken to Ninian Park to see the football, my football life was Bristol City Home games Cardiff City Home games and the odd Bristol Rovers game when neither of the Cities were playing at home, I remember being herded into what seemed like cattle trucks that they used on the valley lines to take supporters to Ninian Park station and remember thinking what fantastic support turned week in week out when they were treated like this. Back to the point No I don't like the Moonlike quality of the CCS 'No Atmosphere' compared to Ninian Park. I got very pissed off with the treatment dished out to myself and others when I lived in Cardiff and worked in Penarth stealing my car and spray painting Cardiff City all over it twice, also happened to another Bristolian, dog **** through the letter boxes happened to several of us and other problems like superglue in locks. Now if that makes your followers somehow superior to ours in your view well it's you that are sad and bitter. I happen to prefer the 'new' Swansea stadium to yours and I would hope that our new or revamped stadium is closer to theirs than yours so I suppose in your view again that makes me sad and bitter?
Bitter nah. Rather be a WBA or Wolves than Malay Fc. Clubs keeping traditions. BCFC will get turned over by CPFC and there is a club going about things a different way. Loads of engagement with fans, club colours are preserved fans involved in choosing kits, far more noisy fans than your lot. Hell your fire and passion lot try and imitate them " we luv you , we luv ... woo hooo!" Dreadful song mind. That club saturday of the pitch was dead.
Lots of pragmatic observation mixed with in the field as it were experience. Poor stadium design can and has had a negative effect on fan bases. Saturday was a warning of just how negative the effects can be. A once passionate support has been turned into what my Lazio supporting friend calls a "cauldron of hush".
And Shiny you look and behave like a c*nt permanently. You don't have to try. Sorry to everyone else, gone down to his level but I guess that's all he will understand.
Now now lads don't scare them they'll wake up one day and see that they're bottom of league 2 and turning into Leeds
