If we get to the Checkatrade final, I will be forced to boycott Portsmouth at Wembley. Thanks for making me to do that, Harvey, you prick.

As for League promotion, I don't know... We'll probably lose in the play-off semi-final again.

Who is Harvey? Hey, PL, the play-offs are an experience. To my mind Pompey have only been involved twice, so the more the merrier, hey. And who knows, perhaps a Wembley date. As for the Checkatrade, I have a feeling Bury will win the semi, so don't worry about missing out there., as nice as the thought of lifting a treasued trophy could be. Not even Manchester United can boast of winning this one, so perhaps it would be worth winning after all.
 
Harvey is the head of the EFL, Shaun Harvey. The idiot who keeps forcing premier league academies down our throats while being completely oblivious or wilfully ignorant of how insulting and patronising it is to fans of League 1 and League 2 clubs.

Play-offs are pretty stressful, but I wouldn't mind going up that way tbh. At least Farnborough broke the Hampshire play-off curse a couple of seasons ago.

While I don't think that most would disagree on the inclusion of the academies, they've been something of a non-factor...I wouldn't boycott because a team's academy got stuffed in the quarters.
 
Given that we got the excitement of Watford in the next round, I'm not too upset about being knocked out... Though there was a reasonable chance we'd have been on TV, but not necessarily...

Pompey fail to beat Accrington Stanley at Nottarf on the final day after letting in a goal in stoppage time scored by ex Saint Will Wood making his league debut, therefore missing out on auto promotion on GD.
Then after the play-off matches with Charlton are level after the two legs in the penalty shootout, ex Saint Ben Reeves scores the winner from the spot in front of the Fratton End to knock the sickened Skates out...:emoticon-0116-evilg

Yeah, I know...i've got way too much time on my hands..<laugh>

Portsmouth's form is a bit like mine on my recent career in FIfa 17. Great start to the season, end up 1st. Form implodes and don't win in ages. Luckily I got my first win in about 5 games, now for Portsmouth to do the same.

You've got some very winnable games coming up, suspect you'll know whether you'll have to settle for play offs or not by this time next month.
