Both of you are right here: there are some frustrations but one cannot ignore the divisive and horrid rhetoric in this campaign.
I'm not going to simply say, hey ho, my side lost, and I'm happy with you right wing nutters running the country and taking us out of the EU. It's democracy, yes, and I accept that. I don't have to like it or agree with it.

Because Lithuania, Latvia, Romania, Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia are full members of the EU. Turkey is not. They could have made jobs for a country in the EU. They could have loaned more. That would say "this is what we can do for countries in the EU". What they have done is say "We are doing things for countries that aren't in yet, sorry."
Yes they provide money to the small countries but like Blair throwing money around and not worried about what that meant they throw money around. They should be doing that groundwork, Working for the EU. They didn't. They just give money and the people leave to look for work in richer countries meaning that country has less chance of improving because they lose their pool of potential to other countries.
Same in this country at the moment. We have put x billion extra into the NHS that means x more nurses, x more doctors. What they don't say is oh we will be importing them from other countries which is fine, oh and that is new policy so we're scrapping bursaries because its cheaper to import nurses and doctors so we're not bothering to train our own people up anymore. It is using people as commodities. Go for the cheapest option and don't worry about our own. Throw them a handout to shut them up.
That is a poll. Question is why the university cities didn't come through for remain as expected. How many of those young that polled so higly actually bothered to vote?
See, I voted out in the end, because the inevitable destination for the EU is some kind of European superstate. I don't want to see us have any part of that.

So why were the BBC going big on "university cities will expect high student remain votes to put them on remain?" Surely that means that the Beeb were saying that students got their polling cards to their Uni residences/halls of resBecause students are back in their own constituencies where they're registered to vote.
Both my parents voted leave. Do I think they're thick racists? Well not thick, but probably not as enlightened in the way the younger generations areBoth my parents voted leave. Do I think they're thick racists? No.
Do I think they made the right decision for my generation? No.
Am I going to sit here and bitch and whine about it and then be surprised if it won't work out for me? No.
That's democracy. Now I'm just interested in making sure 'independent Britain' (in whatever form in takes) is as good as it can be.

This is a black day for this country, do not be fooled, the price that will be paid by the younger, no-voting age people will be massive both in terms of loss of opportunity and financial uncertainty. I too wish magic would happen and see a different outcome, but that will not be the case. The older generation have let this country down badly by being sucked into believing a whole pack promises that will simply not happen as described, and that a new dawn is about to rise. That new dawn as described by those who promoted leave is the one which will come to life with a massive dose of disillusionment as the REAL truth behind this reckless gamble becomes fully visible and the pain of such a separation finally kicks in. The one certainty is that those who led the nation into believing such treacherous paths will not be around to answer the question, why did you do this to our wonderful country and to our friends in Europe, they will have left the political stage long before then as they always do.But Ford have already got an operation in Turkey which is an excellent export location as they can ship to Africa, Europe and the middle East easily. I take it you know for a fact that the EU is not creating jobs in the countries you mention? You're completing ignoring the fact that in terms of commerce and trade Turkey is a essentially a full member of the EU, so it is showing countries what the EU can do in terms of job creation.
No one is saying the EU is perfect, but you have to be in these organisations to influence change, do you now trust our British MP's to make all of these decisions and put in the proper groundwork? Because I sure as **** don't. We're now stuck as a little island (soon to be smaller) and with a massively weakened economy (soon to be weaker) which is going to affect our trade deals we can make, good luck to your leave voters who think the EU is the cause of all their problems because it's not. It's the British Government making bad decisions. Immigration will still happen and workers will come in to fill the jobs that British people tend to avoid, there's not suddenly going to be loads of manufacturing occuring in the country because we're not competitive and haven't been for the last 20-30 years.
The Tories spent a huge amount of money re-organising the NHS which has led to billions wasted in inefficiency, the whole bursary being scrapped isn't going to change, the leave campaign are already denying that the majority of the money saved from leaving the EU (Approximately £0) is going to be reinvested in the NHS. As I said above, immigrants will still feel these roles, with or without the EU.
I feel sorry for you because by leaving the EU we have severely weakened our countries economy and we're not nearly as attractive a place for industries to come and invest as the leave campaign have insisted, so I hope you enjoy the ride.

No, No, No you've got it all wrong! The economic experts are all wrong! The last 4 prime ministers were all wrong! THE MIDDLE AGED + WORKING CLASS ARE RIGHT AND KNOW THE FULL WORKINGS AND EFFECTS OF THE EU AND THE SUBSEQUENT SEPARATION!!!!!
I don't know if a lot of what you are saying is incorrect but I know this is wrong. Scraping the bursaries actually means they are not limited by funds as to how many nurses they can enrol/train. It actually means more British nurses can be trained so we don't have to get so many from abroad. It takes time to train them so it will be a while before we see the benefits. Before you say no one will apply, they have already tried it out and were inundated with applicants.

No. It is the UK government that haven't listened and the message from the EU has been cast iron. This is not up for renegotiation.good luck to your leave voters who think the EU is the cause of all their problems because it's not. It's the British Government making bad decisions.
