If Burnham suggests the following policies, I would be backing him:
• blocks the UK from selling F-45 parts to Israel
• suggest a 2% wealth / asset tax on billionaires
• renationalises all utilities (water, electric, gas & railways)
• block any form of working relationship with Palantir (evil bastards!)
• reverse any push towards digital ID
• pledge a profits cap on oil companies making profits when we have reserves to rely on in cases of emergency (when Iran war broke out for example) - it is a joke they can continue to have high profits in such circumstances
• put a stop to wind turbine companies turning off the turbines when they are producing too much energy just because “it drives the amount of money they can make down” - ludicrous policy from wind companies!
Other policies I think would be useful for his popularity contest (but don’t think are really that important in grand scheme of things) would be:
• pledge to tackle illegal undocumented immigration, but continue to support migration for jobs no British natives want to do (I.e - NHS, waste & council workers)
• create a national oil company for drilling in the North Sea
• referendum on rejoining EU
Essentially somewhere between Labour & Green Party policies is what the country actually needs… but maybe a bloke with a Northern accent that doesn’t suggest he can grow women’s boobs by hypnosis might have a little more chance at actually implementing some sensible policy lol
