Good if he doesn't, the country is far better off if he doesn't become PM.

He will be more unpopular than Starmer imo.
Well any Labour prime minister will be unpopular because they're all either tied to the failing current economic and political model that's dragging us ever closer to oblivion or are in favour of speeding up the process.

In fairness Badenoch and Farage would have had us balls deep in the Iran ****show, so its not entirely without merit.
yea instead weve just given billions to europe and ukraine to kill russians and protect Ukrainian borders while paying france 600m to hopefully (this time) protect Britains borders from the hoardes of rapists and murderers coming over everyday on boats

But thats okay cos we distanced ourselves from our strongest ally in america by not getting directly involved with iran.

Christ your conflation of issues is some serious mental gymnastics and I have no doubt you have zero interest in understanding things properly. But..

The billions for Ukraine started long before labour controlled the purse strings, it's not exactly a partisan issue and all parties openly support Ukraine, no doubt including the party formerly masquerading as Reform.

You will also find Labour have reduced net migration and are actually attempting to deal with the illegal boat crossings rather than grandstanding about the issue. £600m is insignificant when compared to the amounts wasted in the past by parties telling you want you wanted to hear whilst simultaneously overseeing illegal and legal migration levels soar to all time highs.

Not getting directly involved in a war in Iran to support a man who's only discernable goal was to manipulate the stock market was obviously the correct decision. Something both Kemi and Nige have conceded subsequently following their initial, and entirely predictable, jump and shout routine.

I particularly like Starmer for the fact he annoys both the left and right populist morons in equal foamy amounts. Ill educated populist arguing about vacuous words whilst ignoring actions will never cease to amaze.

Maybe im naive, but i really don't understand the obsession with immigration. What i see is a cynical media pandering to people's worst fears and prejudices. This is true of most of the press in this country, and as for social media, that's an emotional cesspit owned and manipulated by oligarchs intent on stirring up hate (I'm looking at you, Elon Musk) to divert attention from the real crisis that is undermining western civilisation - the widening chasm of income inequality.

People are pissed off and angry because they are poorer than their grandparents were, and don't see much in the way of opportunities for any but the most fortunate. Of course it suits the billionaire media barons to see immigrants blamed for the failure of free market fundamentalism. Only fools fall for it though.

Pissed off and angry people gravitate towards extremes, on thst we can agree; and hustory tells us that never ends well.

Maybe I didn't put enough emphasis on why I think people's frustrations are turning them against the government. It's not about what you see as the real problems, it's how potential Reform voters see them, whatever their reasons are. In your reply you are doing exactly what the government has done in dealing with people's dissatisfaction by dismissing them as prejudiced and fools. People have concerns, we may not understand or agree with them but who are you or I to tell them they can't have those concerns? Worse, if politicians tell them they are "driven by far right hatred" it will only make a hostile atmosphere even more serious.
If the government won't listen, they will find someone who will (Farage).

The British electorate has voted in large numbers to boot out Labour, reasoning that “things can’t get any worse”, despite copious evidence from around the world that they absolutely can.
