The BBC article has a vox pop section which concerns safety fears in Golders Green. I concur with some of the points but it is wrong to make a case for only Jewish people not feeling safe on our streets. The issue goes beyond this. The streets aren't safe fir women full stop. They are not safe for immigrants in the south east of England. There are parts of Lncashire which are probably not safe for white people. The whole of the countryside is unwelcoming for anyone who is not white. Where do you stop ?

I will throw another argument into the mix. A number of people interviewed made comments about the UK not being safe for Jews and then reference was made to people who had emigrated to Israel. Not sure how Israel is safer than UK but the question is what kind of safety are they after? What makes them think that Israel is more tolerant than the UK?

On top of this, Netanyahu has commented that the UK needs to take action. What does this mean ? Does he want Starmer to react like Israel has done in Lebanon and bulldoze Bradford ? I am not a fan of the police but who else but British rozzers would have dealt with the situation better ?

As I said in my previous post , we have imported other people's arguments into this country . I my opinion, the rhetoric needs to be dialed down. Yesterday's stabbings were the action of a mentally ill man. There is no need to politicise the unfortunate incident. Fortunately no one got killed . Stabbings happen everyday in London , often gang related. It does not help framing this as Jew V Muslim argument as this is just creating more friction when the assault was made by someone who was ill.

Your last paragraph is shameful to read quite frankly. The Jewish community are being targeted time and time again and you call this incident "unfortunate"? The monster who committed this act of terror was referred to Prevent back in 2020 and you still refuse to call it a terrorist incident. Why will you not acknowledge that it was?

Good afternoon

Go away and reread my comments.

Don't think calling everything 'terrorist' incident really helped. For sure , the assailant seems like he was motivated by Islamic extremism but, by the same token , he had serious mental health issues.

Your comments come straight out if the Trump playbook.

Not sure anyone is anyone calling everything a terrorist incident. People are just happy to label it as such when it quite clearly is.

Is hating Jews a mental health condition? Have you had your diagnosis yet?
