It's OK for Trump.
There's no evidence his friendship continued after Epstein's convictions is there?
Plus I don't care what Americans want to do with their government. I don't think someone with those connections should be in ours.

Quite possibly mate, we have a very strange relationship with alcohol in this country where it's found odd if you don't drink so people make assumptions.
I find that conversation frustrating at times as my problem isn't specifically with alcohol but with drugs as a whole. I could easily go a long time without drinking alcohol but I'd be consuming something else instead (or vice versa).
People tend to argue that surely I could still have an occasional drink if I didn't have a specific problem with it but unfortunately it's not that simple lol.
True. First thing I said with Raynor was you just can't lambast the Tories who have been awful for 14 years and then do something, well, the same. Just stupid.I agree he has, but he doesn't grandstand on being whiter than white. If you're gonna stand on a squeaky clean ticket you need to be squeaky clean. Farage doesn;t pretend to be an angel.
Fair enough. I don't think there is much that we can do about it though.
Well you seemed to suggest we should keep him on despite that?
That is one far fetched comparison between cars and guns
The press will eventually get him.
If Raynor was forced to resign , the same rules need to apply to Farage.
Only because he was obviously an important cog in the wheel, affecting the present and the future, his past could be overlooked until the job is complete, going off half cocked could be detrimental, while we find a replacement, there is no guarantee that there is anyone equal or better at the job in hand.
And that's where we disagree. His friendship and support for a known sex offender overrides his competence for the role.
But then I'm not too surprised by this given your defence of Greenwood.
Make sure you glock it.I’m just going down the shops in my AK47

He called for her sacking because of her saying other people should be sacked for not breaking the law.
The only thing he said which is being jumped on as "shaky" is he said in response to a question "I" have just bought a house in Clacton which when pushed recently he is now being questioned on the spurious grounds that he said he bought a house when it was his partner that bought the house. I my wife (or partner) bought a house and we were a couple then I might say I've just bought a house. They are going mad over this silly nothingburger. I/We/She spoken off the cuff is their whole argument!.
Greenwood? Oh yes the rape case. I said at the time I was confused by the evidence being presented, it appears that there was no defence for him eventually?
However according to United, the investigation result was that "the material posted online did not provide a full picture and that Mason did not commit the offences in respect of which he was originally charged", but Greenwood "made mistakes which he is taking responsibility for" and there are "difficulties with him recommencing his career" with United. On the same day, Greenwood made a statement acknowledging that he would leave United; stating: "I was brought up to know that violence or abuse in any relationship is wrong, I did not do the things I was accused of. I fully accept I made mistakes in my relationship, and I take my share of responsibility for the situations which led to the social media post."
