BBC reporting that 4 drones involved and that this was accidental although accepting Russia is happy that NATO tested.

It is perfectly possible to show concern about uncontrolled immigration without using racist language or burning down hotels.
Idiots. Apparently the police want to talk to two people seen running away. And hopefully the toxic rhetoric that makes these people feel empowered gets toned down a bit, but that seems unlikely.

What a ****ing mess, flag shagging arsonists in the UK, abuse of minorities from right wing nationalist groups throughout Europe and elsewhere, escalating conflicts in Ukraine and the middle east, numerous disputes simmering all over the place and 'kin Trump proving to the world what an absolute arsehole he is. It's not going to bring us down we'll be on a flight to Indonesia this time next week for a much anticipated long break.The world can **** itself we're far from the maddening crowd.
There will be people who have genuine concerns about the use of asylum hotels, but when you simulaneously get threatening messages graffitied onto public spaces (alongside the St Georges flag) and someone chucks a flare into a Hotel window with intent to kill in the same week in the same city, it won't do that perception any favours.
And it is incumbent on the other people in that movement to push out anyone who has racist tendencies, they can't just shrug their shoulders and say 'wasn't me guv, stop tarring me with the same brush'. If they see or hearing anything untoward in their protests they should report it and challenge it.
The arsonist (attempted murderer) is probably one of these knuckle-draggers, If it is just about patriotically displaying the flag, why are they dressed as Crusades religious war templar knights?

Russia will eventually test article 5 and if it happens during Trump's presidency then I think there is a good chance the US will fail to respond. That will be the formal end of NATO and the Western European / North American era.
The only thing preventing that from happening right now is that Russia is bogged down in Ukraine.

I don't quite get why the Police bother to get bogged down in debating the minutiae of the rules though, should just say 'not interested, just do as I say' and then nick them if they don't behave.

Re the Russian drone attack. 19 drones entered Polish airspace and 4 were shot down. We are not being told what happened to the remaining drones. Did they change course and hit targets in Ukraine. Not seeing an answer this this anywhere
