Yeah world is in a very grim place at the moment. Pretty worrying and depressing in all honesty. Worst thing is there are no good guys in leadership around the world that will deescalate things or do something to put manners on the worst of the nations
Pedro Sanchez is a very good leader and has proved it by building bridges between the different factions that makeup.the Spanish Government. On an international level, he has been to China, recognised the Palestine state, and does not curtsy to the USA.
Trump ally, Charlie Kirk appears to have been shot at one of his Turning Point events. Now I’m not saying it’s a good thing, but it couldn’t happen to a nastier piece of merde.
His whole thing is rage baiting. A very dangerous way to live in the US.

Apparently he was shot full in the neck and is almost certainly dead. Violence is becoming so ingrained in the world. Nobody deserves that.
Racism, homophobia, conspiracy theories galore, pro gun idiocy amongst many other things. So yes, perhaps.
It’s awful that he’s been shot, and if the videos I’ve seen are real, I don’t think he’ll be coming back. It’s another step toward civil war or authoritarianism in that broken country, which is no good for anybody. But unfortunately, if you live by the sword etc…
I hate this, I really do. But what did people think was going to happen in a nation carrying lots of guns that’s currently being ripped apart into two ‘tribes’. We’d do well to take heed.

As a debater he is completely disingenuous, I can't see how he could make sense to anyone, it always looks like pure bait to me.
Either way he doesn't deserve this and from what I can gather from people who have seen the video which I have no interest in watching at this time, he is very unlikely to survive.
US is going further into the toilet, its not that long since that Minnesota Democrat, her husband and their dog were assassinated among other examples of political violence.
Of course Trump and his cabal could reflect on the atmosphere they have created, especially with constant threats to take military action in major cities, but I am sure it will go the other way and be seen as further justification for raising the temperature.
It's ridiculous. There's shooting after shooting, and nutters are still free to own AUTOMATIC weapons based on the Second Amendment, written well over 200 years ago! How can they not see how ****ed up that is?
Of course the answer is more guns, as well as martial law and cancelled elections. (my unfortunate guess).
Amazing how a document from the past can enshrine the right to own something that wasn’t invented for a long time after!
There are far too many guns in the country for them to really be able to do anything about them now. Not to mention how connected they are with the founding story of the county and their idealised mythology. The militia that fought the English and gunslingers on the frontier.
They obviously need better regulations but it might even be too far for that
