Um.......

You are clearly an Netanhayu apologist who has no problem with the IDF killing women and children.

I am opposed to racists and people who feel aggression against others is acceptable. Bob Vylan's comments are infantile and cartoonish but the intentions of opposing the actions of the IDF are shared by all normal and empathetic human beings. The IDF are no better than the SS or the Gestapo. I see no difference. These people willfully carry out atrocities and your post suggests that you are comfortable with this.

The wife of the Tory councillor is less odious but she is still citing aggression against non-white people.

You need to wake up and smell the coffee. Your opinions are borderline extremist.

Bloody hell Ian, even for you that first line (not the Um) is quite the cognitive leap from what IOTG was saying!

"The wife of the Tory councillor is less odious but she is still citing aggression against non-white people."

It is far far more odious, racist, aimed at vulnerable minorities, founded on lies and was the type of rhetoric that was immediately and violently acted upon.

Reading this morning that the US has frozen more weapon supplies to Ukraine, which probably explains the increase in Russian aggression. The same report quoted Ukraine “sources” as saying that North Korea will be sending another 30000 troops to assist Russia/ be cannon fodder.
I hope at some point that Trump/the USA suffer for what they are allowing to happen.

For someone who likes to big themselves up intellectually, it's clear that you haven't understood or read my post properly.

Don’t want to waste my time on that pantomime when I can get the abridged version with the salient points on LBC.
If the HoC was under the jurisdiction of OFSTED it would be permanently in special measures.

I don't think you can form a balanced personal opinion based on a sanitised version, with most of the salient points extracted?

The one person who seems to be escaping criticism over this sorry affair is Kemi Badenoch. During her questions to Keir Starmer, she made reference to Reeves looking “thoroughly miserable” and made jokes at her expense. On the 97th anniversary of the day women gained the right to vote, this seems a strange way of showing solidarity with a sister MP.

I know. But IOTG is the only person on this board who regularly and consistently supports Israel.

He is the only person I here I would launch into but feel that being constantly referred to as " Thumwood " in his posts does show a lack of courtesy. I disagree with Imp but he always responds with professionalism and informed knowledge. Just feel that IOTG has not demonstrated that he deserves respect. He is like a more eloquent version of Os who is constantly pearl clutching. Happy to engage more civilly but it is a two way street

Cheers

You are right but I didn’t post an opinion.
I posted a video of Rachel Reeves crying and asked if others had seen it, with accompanying words that some were saying it was because of something personal and some were saying it was because her position was under threat, neither of which were my opinion.

She’s a nasty piece of work who will probably be a backbencher before too long.

I think that the Tories are irrelevant. They are stuffed whether or not they ditch Badenoch. They have no one to replace her and most Right Wing voters are too crazy to consider the Conservatives. It is fascinating to see just how much Right Wing politics is losing credibility on a global scale.

Labour are actually now acting as their own opposition. The checks and balances within are more credible than having an opposition from another party.

How do you account for Reform leading in the polls, if Right Wing politics is losing credibility?

My initials are IOAG not IOTG. You did it twice, a deliberate lack of courtesy there Thumwood.

If it makes you feel better you can just call me Game, and leave out my first and middle names. It won't affect the amount of respect I have for you believe me.

This is a very good and informative report on how Trump is ****ing over the Ukrainians and mentions that he has lifted some sanctions to help Russia’s economy, something I wasn’t aware of.
There’s an annoying advert in the middle but you can scroll forward to avoid it.
The title is misleading but the report is still very good.

You must log in or register to see media

Much in the same way you account for the Mail being the highest selling newspaper, if you you can call the arsewipe rag a newspaper. It overtook the Sun in 2020.
In other words the left have to find a way to counteract the propaganda coming from all directions. Starmer admits that Labour aren’t getting their message across, and they have made some terrible blunders in the first year. If they don’t get some big wins soon, the media will have even more ammunition.

How do you account for Reform leading in the polls, if Right Wing politics is losing credibility?

Because Reform are not a credible party. They have a handful of politicians who are recognisable and need to recruit and vet to an unprecedented scale to field enough candidates in the next election. Few of these candidates will have any political experience.
