If he disagrees with me, say his opinion is not qualified.
If his opinion is qualified, say his opinion is compromised.
If his opinion is not compromised…

The life of a Trumpist.

Not at all. He just makes some pretty classic errors that a lot of Keynesian economists make. Heard a lot of his points before and find them easy to rebuke

Os

Why aren't you running the country as you know so much ?

Not enough money in politics. Would rather run businesses

But regardless of that, his ideas are moronic.
The economy is on course to collapse largely due to excess Government tax, regulation and crazy spending.

And what is Gary's solution?; more tax, regulation, and even MORE spending.

Can’t believe people are listening to it <laugh>

I think it’s mostly bluster and he’s trying to secure better deals for America at key global trade routes

So a little bit of it isn't bluster ?

It will be interesting to see for how long and with how many other countries he can try this on with. He will quickly reach a point where no one will take America seriously and they will become ostracised.

Anyone else think “Christian” has become a euphemism for white - that doesn’t exclude black people while singling out Muslims as the enemy?

In the UK, Christianity is actually more significant within the black community as opposed to white people. Your typical Christian is more likely to be of either Caribbean or African descent albeit unlikely to be CoE or Catholic as Os will note when he goes to church.

Probably needs reminding that the American War of Independence wouldn't have happened without the French. They would all be speaking Choktaw if it wasn't for France.

There is incompetence at every level with this administration.

A brief summary of life in the UK:

27 million private sector workers support 9 million economically inactive people aged 16-64, 6 million public sector workers, and 13 million pensioners.

If you suggest any part of this is unsustainable, people compare you to Hitler.

9 million includes students and retirees. It is a pretty misleading number.

Surely those 6 million public sector support the pensioners and economically inactive too?

Definitely. When people who have never set foot in a church in their lives tell you this is a Christian country, what they mean couldn't be clearer; that there's no place here for Moslems.

If they were to say, this is a secular democracy where religion is a personal matter, I’d agree with them. But those people (we know who they are) they don’t say that.

Plus the fact that the majority of the 13 million pensioners paid throughout their working life into their pension funds, and that the UK state pension is the lowest in Europe.

More inflammatory bollocks from our favourite inflammatory bollocks merchant.

The public sector by its very nature don’t create value. At best all the public sector can do is return money back to the private sector.

(Not to say that the public sector aren’t necessary and important. Just in a purely economic sense).

If the country were a business (which it is), the public sector would be on the “L” side of “P & L”
