The LBC correspondent in America has said that the Republicans are going all out to challenge the signatures on early ballots.
Arizona will be receiving, this morning, about 500,000 (half a million) of these ballots and will, apparently, be checking every signature and potentially demanding additional proof that the signatures are valid.
They could potentially challenge every one of those ballots and then have just 5 days in which to complete the task, invalidating those that aren’t checked.
The bit about this starts around 3 minutes in.

When I think of the US population, in my imaginatión, I think of its great athletes from Muhammad Ali, Billie-Jean King, Althea Gibson, Ed Moses, Allyson Félix, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Noah Lyles, Serena Williams. In music we can conjure up listening to.Gershwin, the songs of Motown, Philly International and Stax. We listen to the raw emotions of Dylan and Báez. I can see the successes of Nasa, Ford, GM, Microsoft and Apple, works of literature from Twain, Hemingway and Chomsky. Great films of every genre imaginable and wonderful leaders like Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Abraham Lincoln, Barack Obama. This to me is how I want to see the USA. Trump and his MAGA disciples are but an annoying wart on the body of the USA.
If I cared about democracy this would enrage me. If I bought the Hitler rhetoric, I would be overjoyed. They can burn the Reichstag next week!
Culturally second to none and not far off in sport. Beautiful parts of it too .Basically everything else in the country is grotesque though. Has been long before now but it's probably worse than ever..Guns, foreign policy, healthcare, drugs, law and order, death penalty... It's a sick place that is normalised by the way their culture has been embraced in this part of the world.. Could be an amazing place but the powers that be choose for it not to be

These two posts just about sums the USA up, wonderful achievements countered by the worst type of human behaviour. Probably similar to many other developed countries but on a much bigger scale. I've always enjoyed visiting and most of the people I've met have been very hospitable.

I watched the unfolding events on January 6th 2021 live on TV. I saw Trump whip the crowd up into a frenzy and urge them to march to the Capitol. I heard him demand Mike Pence’s head. Everything that happened that day was at his behest.
When he loses the election and goes to jail for this and all his other many crimes I will breathe a huge sigh of relief that this sad period in American history is finally over.

In my opinion he is by far the lesser of two evils. Kamala is an unelected, incompetent buffoon. She would be another puppet president like the mentally unfit Biden. Just like under Biden, her weakness will unleash more chaos and wars on the world.
At least Trump will strive for peace like he did before. And to me world peace is more important than any of his previous crimes. We need a strong America.
I am not sure why there is the need for the insults in this case. My opinion is just as valid as yours.
