So Truss/Kamikwarzi are going to announce their `plan` at the end of the month. That`s 2 1/2 more weeks of self-imposed turmoil while they try and cobble something together on the back of a *** packet to disguise another massive U turn on the mini budget.. Meanwhile the economy goes further down the pan, and our credibility across the globe plummets. Surely their position is untenable already.

I think it is untenable. I also think the only hope for Truss is to shove Kamikhazi in the bin pronto, but I doubt she will have the courage to do that. She seems to have in her character, an odd combination of empty bravado and cowardice. Do they’re both ****ed, and unfortunately so is the country; unless enough of her own MPs have the moral courage to vote against her in a confidence vote.

That poll is likely an outlier, but it's not that much of one. There have been 13 polls conducted in October. In all 13, the margin between Labour and the Tories has been 25 points or larger. Seems crazy to say about someone recently chosen as party leader, but I cannot see how she remains as PM until the next election. Even with some reversion it'd still be a historic bloodbath.

We can only dream!

It's nice to see that the tinfoil hat brigade on the right appears to be apoplectic about Hunt's appointment. There goes that last 19%.
