Global energy costs are rising. Our government chose to inflict the rises on consumers, by raising the cap on costs by 54%. France have raised the cap by 4%. Not directly to do with Brexit, but it was the Take Back Control bit that is relevant. Are the price rises at all connected to Brexit though?
A double tax increase on the poor as not just putting up NI, they are freezing the tax allowance for a few years, so any pay increases will be worthless for most.No one in the Tory party has any semblance of conservativism in them, or a spine.
Absolute mess of a government. Trying to defend the indefensible and embarrassing themselves.
To see that they’ve cut tax for the wealthy and raised it on the poor makes me angry in ways I can’t even describe.
Watched the opening of the Winter Olympics and thought thank goodness we are not sending any political representation. Imagine Dorries there accompanied by Truss and Johnson. We would be shamed and laughed at on the world stage and we would have been £500,000 worse of due to the cost of their private plane.
I really do have a visceral dislike of Dorries.
I can’t bring myself to watch an Olympics hosted in the country where there is a genocide taking place. I don’t want to support anything to do with China.
I think everyone should have boycotted it personally.
The majority of French electricity is nuclear generated, is it not ?Are the price rises at all connected to Brexit though?
I watched the Apprentice the other day and one of the teams were designing a computer game set near the North PoleI mean, the answer to what sea you'd need to ship stuff through to reach the Baltic states is right there in their name.
