I think it is brilliant that a back bench Tory MP has had the balls to so this.
The government has insisted that the choice of chairman was down to the committee, so to see them spit the dummy and take punitive action against Julian Lewis, who was democratically elected to the post, is another indication that the Tory view of democracy is more like autocracy.
There are Tories, and there are Tories. Julian Lewis is an old-fashioned right-wing imperialist, but one who cares deeply about Parliament and doesn’t want it ****ed with, either by Cummings and his puppets, or Vladimir Putin.

These little green men are from unknown agencies. If they are from the agencies most presume (Bureau of Prisons/Immigration and Customs Enforcement), they do not have any authority to arrest or detain protesters. The local jurisdictions haven't asked for their presence, and they refuse to cooperate with local authorities. It's unclear where exactly the protesters being grabbed are taken.

So, yeah, this is slightly problematic.

How did we ever allow this incomprehensively incompetent & negligent government any where near office ? Well we didn`t. Sadly the same morons that voted BJ and his shower of slimebags in again last time may do it again next time.

I think there are two types of Tory supporters.
There are those that don’t fully understand what the party stands for, and who are duped into voting for them because they read and believe the wrong things, and end up supporting a party that actually hurts them with their policy decisions.
And then there are those who do understand what the party stands for. They, IMO, are the dangerous ones, because no matter how low the party stoops, and they have been in the gutter ever since Cameron became PM, this group will, unless they experience an epiphany, always vote for them.
