Hmm, well belated. But I'll enjoy it.A happy belated 30th Birthday![]()
Yeah, we don't do those distinctions on here, Farked. Not everyone has film star looks.

Davidson`s sole agenda seemed to be trying to score points off the SNP. To her credit (although there may be other reasons), she had the self respect to quit when spaffer got full speed into despot mode.Sorry if my personalisation offended. Arlene is however a truly despicable person, rivalling Pfeffel and Trump for nastiness. By contrast Ruth Davidson isn't a stunner but despite being a Tory nevertheless comes across as quite a decent type. I think that Archer's point that Ms. Foster's ugliness of personality is reflected in her attack dog appearance has some merit.
On Pfeffel himself I would paraphrase Peter Crouch: "What would you have been if you had not been Prime Minister?" - A virgin!
Wrong mnemonic F19, surely you meant B.L.A.I.R.......This is what the liar does. " everyone now just wants to get this done" that probably applies to <40% of the population. His natural inclination is to lie. The irony is that most of those applauding him refer to Bliar!
Then we have different opinions. However I will never forgive Johnson and his cronies for what they are doing and I cannot forgive those who support him.

Err, veto goes to the "Stormont Assembly" (i.e the defacto NI government) or if, failing that, a NI Referendum would be held accordingly!Just read Johnson's letter. I dont know if there was another document sent with it as it wasnt actually that detailed.
Anyone point out the hypocrisy of his paragraph on consent of everyone affected by the customs alignment.
He says everyone affected but only offers a veto to the DUP. Nothing to the EU and Ireland.
Secondly this veto is basically saying ithey get a vote on whether to leave the customs alignment. And if they refuse to leave, they will have to vote again every 4 years until they do. Is he calling this democratic now? I could have sworn he said something different about voting like that recently![]()
It going to stormont gives DUP a veto. It also gives sinn fein a veto as I understand it. I could be wrong. But that wasnt my pointErr, veto goes to the "Stormont Assembly" (i.e the defacto NI government) or if, failing that, a NI Referendum would be held accordingly!
I have no argument that she is the person you describe. But her looks have nothing to do with it. So, let's keep it real.Sorry if my personalisation offended. Ireland (and to a certain extent the EU) have, in over THREE YEARS, have failed to understand that they will have to deal with THEIR OWN BORDER Issuesif there is a "No Deal" scenario. It going to stormont gives DUP a veto. It also gives sinn fein a veto as I understand it. I could be wrong. But that wasnt my point
In that section I was talking about how he didn't include an mechanism for Ireland or the EU to end the arrangement in his take it or leave it deal despite them clearly being affected by the irish border as well.
I suspect you are right Farked - I`ll be voting tactically for the first time ever however, to get rid of the loathsome Johnson and his cronies, and to stay in the EU - in what ever form those elections/referendums take place. She clearly did score points, and indeed seats, off the SNP. That seems now to be about to come home to roost. Scotland will, whenever the election comes go blue. The trouble for Pfeffel is that it will be dark blue with a white cross.
You realise a border involves two countries, right?Ireland (and to a certain extent the EU) have, in over THREE YEARS, have failed to understand that they will have to deal with THEIR OWN BORDER Issuesif there is a "No Deal" scenario.
That effectively negates the need for the UK offer to give them an input into UK affairs once the UK has left.
Subsequently, the EU (AND Ireland) will need to react positively to agree the 'free trade' deal that they have espoused about, and that will ONLY be negotiated AFTER the withdrawal process has been agreed.
Err, you seem to be forgetting that the UK has stated many, many times now that they have NO INTENTION of having a "hard border" anywhere on the island of Ireland. You realise a border involves two countries, right?
If Ireland unilaterally cancel the border arrangement it affects us too. It also works the other way around.
Thus, an arrangement needs to be place with input from both sides. Nothing unilateral.
Boris's deal doesn't have a hard border as far as I know? I believe we are asking ireland to build customs check points around the country but that's about it. I don't know what you are getting at.Err, you seem to be forgetting that the UK has stated many, many times now that they have NO INTENTION of having a "hard border" anywhere on the island of Ireland.
Spookily both Ireland & the EU of stated the same during the last two years or more....... just saying.
So who would build your (presumed) hard border ?
