Why on earth would he??..........Are you suggesting because We voted leave my Scottish relatives wouldn't be welcome down here if the need arrived.......I don't believe Imps has anything against Europeans or anyone. The Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish are British are they not??. They are no different from someone coming from London because its too expensive to live up there........or retiring to Bournemouth as a lot of them do!!
Actually, immigrants are no different to British people, either. So where is the problem? Are we only willing to share our land mass when it suits us?

Personally I don't have a problem and as far as I know Imps doesn't either............."I don't believe Imps has anything against Europeans or anyone." was my quote. It was Vins reference that Scottish people may be considered immigrants that got me going especially as I am half Scottish although borne in England.

Did you know that almost 20,000 Poles were in the RAF from 1940-45, and made up almost 1/3rd of the pilots during the battle of Britain.
****ing immigrants....
And today, Southampton has a big Polish community, although it is understandably smaller since mid-2016, when they were basically told they were no longer wanted. At one point it was approximately 10% of the overall population. They provide a good diversity to the overall culture. I get a personal benefit from it. I love Polish sour dough bread, for example. There's a Polish bakery in Shirley district.

As the Skates so charmingly like to call us "Little Warsaw", what a scummy right wing craphole Porstmouth is....

There used to be a Polish Social Club in Portswood in the 70’s, no idea if it’s still there? Went to a wedding reception there once, don’t think either bride or groom were Polish. 2nd or 3rd generation, maybe. That’s what happens with immigrants, they integrate, having first enriched the local culture.

My older brother's wedding reception was there in the mid 80s, his ex wife has Polish parents.

The German company that I work for does not acknowledge unions and the original head man was quoted as saying, to his management team, “If you find out that anyone is in a union, let me know and I will get rid of them”.
The lack of union involvement is clear, as shown by the daily breaches of the Health and Safety Act that are encouraged by management in order to get the staff to work quicker.
Safe working policies, as in company rules, are also neglected in the push to speed up the work force.
I have stuck my neck out and complained umpteen times, about the above, but nothing ever changes.
However, I don’t blame the company for taking this attitude. I blame the Tories for their relentless drive to destroy unions and reduce workers rights, which has allowed companies to act like they do.

You're complaining to the wrong people, find out who their liability insurers are and complain to them. It's the insurers, not the unions, nanny state or the EU, that care about H & S, because they're the one's who lose the money, and they're as powerful as the banks.

Sorry, Beddy, I have literally no idea what you're trying to say here. As usual you're making assumptions about what I think, what I think about Leave voters and what Imps possibly thinks about Europeans, assumptions that render your point of view incomprehensible. So I'll ask the question a different way.

If it is OK for British people to move within the UK to fill job vacancies, is it OK for Poles to move to the UK to fill job vacancies?

In your answer please try to avoid telling me what other people think or even what you think I mean by the question. Also note that it's not about attitudes to Europeans or to race in general. It's a very specific question.
