Seems like nigh on half the tories fancy themselves as pm..........Mind you they won't be there long if they get the job.........

If The Chuckle Brothers were Tory MPs I think they’d fancy their chances against this lot

Can anyone spot any leadership potential amongst them?

Time for Chris Grayling to declare his bid?

Ah, OK. I thought I must have missed something important - I did think that although the motion to stop a no deal brexit succeeded in Parliament, it isn't legally binding to the government so still leaves the door open to No deal. How that could actually happen without ripping up the GFA I don't know however.

Catch-22 becomes Catch-50!

The "BS Guido" reports on "bydonkeys" about their spending (as a non party campaign) has forced them to register with the EC!! If they are unregistered their limit in England is £20k which they quite obviously have spent way more than. And even now they are registered the limit is £159k which (according to Guido) they have overspent on as well.

I would suggest that them feeling they had to register suggests in itself there is something to this story. Their supporters (including Cadwalladr) completely unaware of actual rules and laws were using the defence "they are not a political party" right up to today.

I daresay they could be done by the BP over copyright, trademarks and trade descriptions, attempt to mislead seeing as their latest billboards don't just emulate BP style adverts. They actually use the logo AND present the whole thing as if it came from the BP.............which quite obviously is not allowed!!

But of course they are on the right correct side of the argument and thus they will get away with it.

Guido's wrong again. It's not "quite obvious".

They spent £18,298* during the EU election campaign period, which is when the limits apply.

But you don't really care. And you certainly seem to think that Guido's some kind of fearlessly independent researcher. He's a propagandist, nothing more. Reading his made-up tripe has led many gullible people to vote for Brexit.

Vin

PS. To forestall a predictable tack by you, they have registered to be transparent rather than through need.

* Look it up yourself. I found it, you can too. I know you won't bother as I know you don't care about tedious details if they don't agree with you. Cheerio!

Strewth Vin thought you were taking a break??

I’m quite good at talking utter bollocks, but I’m not sure I’d want to do it for a living.

Qualities needed to become the next Conservative leader

1. Good gymnastic skills
2. The ability to make something sound good when it isn´t
3. Tall and Slim a la Cameron and May - that´s Boris out!!!
4. Someone from an ethnic minority - this sounds racist as there is only one race, but you get my drift
5. Someone none commital - that is the two former Brexit secretaries out.

ok, so if all the far right parties win across Europe (they're already celebrating TOGETHER) what happens next? All the nationalists join together and form a European coalition of Nationalists where they decide to cooperate in the interest of all their countries and scrap the EU?

The different nationalist groups in the EU Parliament apparently don’t get on very well, to say the least. A great way of starting World War III will be to fill the EU Parliament with nationalists.

Yeah, God forbid that I pop in on the non-football part of the forum to point out that we're being fed lies by the great Guido.

Vin

Was surprised was all..........No big deal..........God forbid that I should mention something again for fear of being told off by you.......as if I care........

For all the hype, the projections don't have them doing spectacularly well. They've made gains, but nothing that places them in a position of any authority, so it's doubtful that they have reason to really cooperate.

Murmurs that the Tories are expecting to only have one MEP across the entire country by the end of the European election results coming in tonight.

Expected to rank fifth - behind the Brexit Party, Labour, Liberal Democrats and the Green Party.

Turnout numbers of those councils who have given them so far. Shows that generally the increase in turnout is higher in Remain areas:

Looking at the evidence thus far, it would appear that those who voted have rejected the idea of a "No Deal" Brexit as two-thirds did not voted for either BP or UKIP. So Farage has no mandate to pursue his stupid goal.
