Whatever anyone thinks of him, he's a politician and stupid folk need to stop throwing liquids. Whether its Tommy Robinson or Teresa May, you throw a liquid and you should be charged appropriately. Otherwise, what's to stop some nob from getting some acid in the coming months.
Anyone who thinks its funny because its someone they don't like needs to have a long think.

no, you quoted it, you check it's right before you post it

I don;t particularly care if it is right or not. The news told me that snopes was making sure that our newsfeeds were free of fake news so we don't have to worry our pretty little heads about it.

Electoral commission paying BP a visit tomorrow because of their <£499 donations and how they "can" avoid vetting procedures for donations................

..........no mention of them visiting ChangeUK and People's vote.........who both do the same, publicly. people's vote even declaring why they have set it at £499 because then donors "don't need to be checked."

And still no word on "by donkeys" being paid a visit for going over electoral spending limits.

Looks like a UKIP supporter given his skinhead haircut and style of clothes!

See Ides, this is the problem. The conservatives don;t need more like Grieve, Soubry, Morgan or Hammond. Because there are plenty of them already in Labour and the Lib Dems. The problem with politics (and personal views) these days is that there is an attempt to eradicate any views other than those that are accepted by the middle. An attempt to make the choice only which colour the rosette is with identical policies/ideologies. They are all followers of a "plus ca change" ideology.

What do you want the Conservatives to become? UKIP Version1? UKIP Versión 2? The Alternative Brexit party? By endorsing Brexit this is what they could become. At the moment there are still some sane heads in that party, but if more stupid motions are put forward to rid the party of the likes of Dominic Grieve, then the Conservatives will only be that in name. The country needs a good and sane Conservative party that is like Germany´s Christian Democrats in promoting sane and sensible policies for the benefit of the whole of Germany and the wider world.

I agree.

Plus, the bloke who milkshook (sic) Tommy Robinson get him on the napper, much more precise and effective. If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing properly.

I’ll be upfront and set myself up for the abuse that will come. I’m a paid up member of said party and proud to be so, despite the current mess which horrifies me as much as others on Brexit etc. there is still more for me to continue my support than to keep switching to follow a fashion. It is by no means certain that Johnson will get the nod and I sincerely hope that is the case, there are thousands of reasonable people like me who are not red-neck right wingers and wish for a more centralist role and policies, that is what I tell my local MP and the party chairman as often as I can. There is a real danger that if people like me cannot contribute to this kind of debate because of outright hostility and abuse then this country is in grave peril to which ever mad extreme left or right wing people taking power and really creating the chaos that will ensue. It seems on this board that only left wing views are treated with any respect and I’m just making sure that even if some think I’ve got a peculiar view of things, we only get on as a nation by toleration and decent treatment of others, and these qualities are not just the preserve of the noble left wing point of view.

But isn't that the point, how right and left have been redefined - the whole scale has slowly been moving towards free-market right policies. It's why people like Corbyn and Sanders are seen as such pariahs. People are desperate and fed up with the centre so they are hoping for big change and picking extremes.

We need more Conservatives like Dominic Grieve, Anna Soubry, Nicky Morgan. I suppose Philip Hammond is even a moderate. You need to take the party back to a more centrist position. That means neutralising ERG MPs and eventually replacing them with Conservatives who would be proud to reconnect with fellow Conservatives with the CD in Germany and in France. It is a big ask but memebers like yourself need to start the ball rolling. If I was in the UK, I would join my local association to get them to select a pro-Remain candidate, one who believes that investment in education is paramount, raising pay for teachers, police, those in the NHS, the emergency services, raising the state pension. It is doable. After all, a country that can afford to send its young men and women off to Afghanistan, Iraq and other "war zones" can afford to do the former. So basically, taking the party to the left and even pinching Labour´s clothing. That is what MacMillan did appartently.
I’m doing my best. Thanks!!

There was a (now deleted) post in response to the incident which detailed a preference to what you have stated above. I daresay it was not the only one:

After all we've heard about these <£500 donations from abroad to the BrexitParty and how terrible it is (and it might be) it seems that not just ChangeUK also allow do it........with the explainer that limiting it means that it doesn't need to be checked but, you guessed it, Both the Tory party and Labour also do the same. I suppose by tomorrow we will find out that they all do it:
