Bizarre, isn’t it?

This is not aimed at Beddy, or any other individual - but collectively, Brexit voters constantly reference some supposed lack of freedom at the hands of an overbearing EU. In reality, modern Britons (and Germans, Italians, French, Dutch etc) continue to enjoy historically unprecedented levels of civil and personal liberty.
As an Englishman living in the Hague with my Indonesian wife I wholeheartedly agree. We feel welcome and included.

Good to see the debate on here is still ragingwith all the normal put downs....could be Stormont. At least we can all agree the one good thing to come out of this are some exciting new party options to vote for.

I hope you mean Change UK, and not the parties for the least intelligent in our society. If you are pro-Brexit then the Tories are your guys. If Remain, then its Green, Lib Dem, PC, SNP; Sinn Fein, SDLP, Alliance. The odd one out are Labour where many including Momentum want in, but JC wants out.

So Baker is sacked yet again by the BBC for a Twitter about the new Royal baby and a monkey. I must say the guy has a weird sense of humour, but having said that, it seems politically inappropriate to have a pop at the Royals these days.

That could be one of the funniest slips ever...

Baker has previous, I heard somewhere that he killed Bob Marley...

My postal vote just came through the door. so many options, still have no idea what im voting for.
I'm hoping mine will arrive in The Hague in time, should be OK. I'll have to pay for a priority tracking service for the return. It's only a 13 day window until the 23rd, there will be overseas voters that won't be able to get it done. Voting online the way to go.

It's a good meme but was corrected many many pages (hundreds?) ago. There was an article in the Spectator on "the power of memes" and detailed that they picked pictures that did not represent what they said it did. If I remember rightly the bottom right one was from PMQs and one or more had MPs in them that had not been MPs at the time the pic was "said to be" taken..............i.e. picture was from a decade before the date it was said to be from.
