Makes it all the more important that Parliament looks after their interests and simply revokes Article 50 then. Even the polls are accurate leaving with no deal would be the biggest act of self-harm a nation has committed since the Second World War.
Like always depends what the question is. Those results are from a simple remain vs no deal question. Just England and Wales too.
And of course they’re not at all influenced by the targeted Facebook campaign run by Sir Lyndon Crosby’s lobbying firm, in the guise of seemingly unrelated anonymous FB groups?
The problem is, not many people really understand what a no deal will cause.
Listening today to the House of Commons;
- A police chief has warned that many crimes that currently take weeks to solve will take months if we leave with no deal, thanks to losing the agreement to share knowledge within the EU
- Many business have contacted their MPs directly to warn that no deal will cause massive losses
- Two major economic entities (I can’t remember their acronyms.. CBI? Something) have for the first time united to warn the HoC against no deal
- Green Party leader believes that a no deal will be hugely destructive of environmental laws
The majority of people that I’ve spoken to at work and around the place have the attitude “leave with no deal **** it what’s the worst that could happen”. It’s all people that don’t have an interest in politics, economics or society that are keen for a no deal.
Well.. the truth is it could be really, really bad. The experts are all unanimous. I trust them over all the daily mail readers.

A big majority of professional politicians are absolutely against leaving with no deal and it is their business to know and understand the consequences of it.

This is what is so baffling to me.
If you simply weigh up risk v reward, there is simply no reward big enough to risk no deal.
Especially when we are currently doing well as a country, so the status quo is already fine. It’s absolutely mental

Indeed. Osvaldo posts above a comment about not leavers not believing experts. You don't believe the crowd science expert's assessment of "the people's march" because it doesn't suit.
anti-Brexit groups massively outspend pro-Brexit groups consistently yet you jump on "last 7 days" when the opposite happens. Ignore before that because it doesn;t suit.
This is the crux of the problem. People who are ignoring things if it doesn't suit their argument and you don't even deny it. You don't care that your statement of pro-Brexit spending is built on 7 days spending because it then supports your narrative and your opinion. You don't care how much more remain spent, how much more anti-Brexit has spent yet you push a story about the bad pro-Brexiters using targeted Ads.

This comes on a day when Farage sends all BrexitParty supporters an e-mail saying that all donations made in the next 48 hours are going to be matched £1 for £1 by someone or other he has "on board." I'll post you up a copy in a minute!!
For all the Soros money going into "Best for Britain" (totally separate from People's vote of course) the t'other side has money going in too.
We should also remember that "people's vote" are presented as a new entity from the remain camp. Yet as laughably shown by tweets from the account named people's vote up to the referendum, they just changed the name on the account.

My point was that the Crosby campaign was from a series of supposedly grassroots unrelated groups, but as it turned out they were all run by staff of Crosby’s firm. People’s Vote are at least open about where the funding comes from.
I simply fail to believe that you really think that No Deal can be good for anyone in this country apart from the globalists you claim to despise. And you still haven’t, after months of asking, told us why.
No, I think a more sensible deal that actually got close to honouring the referendum would've been better. I've been pretty clear about that. However this is the only option left available now that gets anywhere near because it is the only one the MPs haven't (and cannot) got rid of, no matter how many times they vote on it because it is not in their power to change the article 50 legal default. That default is in EU law and applies to all EU countries via the Lisbon Treaty. WE can continue voting on it and it will still be there. They have voted on all other options and ended up leaving a single option as the only option for many people.
Your point about the "supposedly grassroots" unrelated groups also leads back into the referendum itself where leave have got into trouble for not being as professional as the remain groups when they were pushing money off into the side project groups. Remain had many more of them than leave, spent more, co-ordinated daily with conference calls but were slick and professional in avoiding it "crossing the line."
The only point you have there is about funding. Yes it should be transparent and it will have to be once it is campaign time. Only during the campaign do political donations and funding have to be disclosed. Outside of that period it is a free for all and I daresay people's vote and those affiliated with (but of course not part of) also have their fair share of non disclosed funding.
Theres nothing stopping them from changing the legal default to revoke or many other things in UK law if they agree to. Very much in their power.
