Beware this woman. Not a nice person, at all. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-37274201 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alice_Weidel https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/apr/02/alice-weidel-jacob-rees-mogg-erg-afd-eu
Not sure what the two of them can change at this point. May played a game of chicken over Brexit and has waited until they crashed and turned Brexit into a mangled wreck before now trying to change course. A bit late. EU aren't going to accept any minor changes or a large extension to the deadline without promise of a significant EU favouring change of course.
Is May just looking for (to use an Americanism) a patsy? Someone to deflect the blame onto should Tory supporters kick off? Corbyn has made it clear that he wants a single market and customs union, with strong protection for workers rights. The tories don’t want any of the above. What could possibly go wrong?
If they had paid attention to Cameron at the time and our own political class had supported his attempts at meangful change we wouldn’t be in this mess!
One thing that I am very, very sure of after all of this: I will never, ever, ever, ever vote conservative whilst any member of the ERG is still in the party. Old, selfish, backwards looking, uncompromising knobs.
It wasn't that long ago the country said it would never vote Labour again. They will be back again, just a matter of time.
I’m watching parliament, and it’s just mental. Labour, green and Lib Dem MPs all using testimony from business leaders in their constituencies saying no deal will be disastrous. Policeman that have said it will take them months longer to catch criminals etc. Then a load of old Tory’s saying “no deal is what the people voted for”. Imbeciles.
Windrush compensation being mooted as £200m but could be as high as £600m Can we expect Theresa and her party to settle this account, or will it be us tax payers as per norm? That’ll be us then.
Some MPs really need to be more self aware. “It’s quite clear that cabinet wasn’t really in favour of this because we have council candidates and people in marginal seats fighting against what is an extremely harsh Labour party run by a marxist whose sole purpose in life is to do real damage to this country.” Said Iain Duncan Smith, the mastermind behind the universally loathed universal credit, that is causing real damage to this country, via it’s harsh treatment of people who genuinely need help.
I wouldn't worry. Even if they get rid of May, replace with a Brexiter and get Brexit done they are done and dusted with a lot of the membership, and I daresay a lot of their core vote too.
They are fast becoming a far-right party. This bill cash guy that keeps waffling and waffling. “We saved Europe twice in the last 100 years....”. Just **** off mate
It honestly baffles me how such a dinosaur can represent anyone in this day and age. How can anyone in his constituency actually vote for him?
