This is 100% a Tory disaster, from beginning to end; egged on by an irresponsible and deliberately dishonest right wing media.

The press gave Nigel Farage and UKIP the oxygen of publicity for years. The sort of publicity the Green Party, for example, could only ever dream about. Then when the Kippers became a threat to the Tories, David Cameron had the genius idea of asking the audience. The rest is history.

I agree, but I also feel that Corbyn has completely failed to take advantage of the Tories’ incompetence. He has shown no leadership at all over Brexit, and no sympathy for the 65% of Labour voters who voted Remain.

Corbyn for king then.

They are suggesting May should perhaps resign to get her deal through. There is no doubt in most people’s eyes she has made a lot of mistakes. But she really took on a red herring with all this. I’m not sure we should be heaving all the blame on her although granted some is her fault. She certainly hasn’t been helped by her MPs and certainly hasn’t received or taken good advice from all quarters.

She needs to go when the decisión is finally taken one way or the other. As there is no one of PM material inside the Tory party today, they should follow the example of our PL clubs and look further afield. Fortunately, there is Albert Rivera of Ciudadnos. All the Tories need to do is prise him away from Spain, find him a safe seat and elect him as their leader. He´s young, handsome., patriotic, would understand the Gibraltar situation, speaks English. All in all the perfect leader for the Conservatives, post Brexit.
