God save us .......
Do you honestly think May has ever looked the part? She's a bumbling mess with no plan other than hide behind a perceived weakness in Corbyn. She is utterly useless.

He is certainly improving but he's not at the level of God quite yet.God save us .......

Personally, I don't see the fear in taxation. Tax needs to lead to the richer helping the poorer, and the public services we rely on being given what they need to actually work...Agree. I'm not impressed by ONE political leader to be honest. Jeremy seems a decent sort of chap but I shudder to think of how the figures their manifesto will cost will bankrupt the country, and his ministers are, in general, a joke. The Tories I have no time for either - it's all money for those who already have it and screw everyone else. To be honest, the only party I'd even come close to agreeing with on many subjects are the Greens, but even they have a few things I disagree with.
I would like low taxation, money for the NHS and schooling, a closure of tax loopholes, a strong armed forces, inheritance tax only to be levied on assets over £1 million (as it was always meant to be), a raising of the limit on stamp duty so ordinary folk don't get screwed, a fairer benefit scheme to avoid those who play the system and give money to those who need it and more investment in renewable energy. But I know I don't stand a cat in hells chaise, so I've gone for the only local candidate I actually met and quite liked.
I love this country, but I cannot stand about 90% of politicians who seem to be in it for themselves ....
I'm off to Ireland for a holiday and will be back after the election so no more comments from me ....
Corbyn can't be any worse then the Tories at national debt. It's increased nearly a trillion since they took over. So much for austerity.Agree. I'm not impressed by ONE political leader to be honest. And I don't think anybody, even those who wouldn't politically align with Labour or with JC, can disagree with any of that.
Wait until the Mail, Express, Sun and Telegraph twist those words and distort his message. The knives are out already...

They balanced it out the further you read down the article. In the end they were reporting on May's insistence on heavily regulating the internet. What she doesn't seem to realise is that the secret is out already that our every word is under surveillance. What I'm writing here could pop up on a surveillance screen if the secret services bothered to look. There are no hiding places on the internet. Only private networks, and they would remain whether you heavily regulated the internet or not. She is putting fear into people totally unnecessarily in order for them to back her. It's like the Daily Mail does every day. Find a subject. Declare it a threat. Make the public scared of it. Then tell them of your intention to nullify it. And the ignorant get onside whilst hurriedly giving away another piece of personal liberty. Sorry Mrs May, but it's bull****.An interesting development in this election has been the Telegraph's - once described as the Torygraph - unfavourable coverage of May and her government.

The Telegraph read my posts and use me as their ear on the ground(not really but could easily be true.)
As for the whole banging on about May and police cuts. Labour are being very hypocritical there. For one as Lord Carlile (Liberal Democrat peer, not a Tory) who was the UK's Independent reviewer of Terrorism (2001-11has stated today that "Bobbys on the beat are nothing to do with counter terrorism and that the police themselves (Cressida Dick for one) have stated they have sufficient resourcing to deal with Terrorism as shown by the 8 minute reaction in London.
That is of course forgetting that Andy Burnham actually proposed that a further 10% could be cut on top of the Tory cuts in 2015. That was when he was Corbyn's shadow home secretary!!

The usual smoke and mirrors on this one (although I would personally like to see more police on the streets anyway.)

Just answer
Just one thing Imps, it was Steve Hilton (David Cameron's former aide) that was calling for May's resignation in the Telegraph article.
This policeman disagrees...
You must log in or register to see media
Cressida Dick doesn't and she is in charge isn't she?
But she doesn't speak for each and every police person does she?
Since Theresa May became Home Secretary in 2010, police numbers have fallen by 46,700, or 19.2%. Hardest hit overall has undoubtedly been the Met.
I would suggest Imps that these are the facts. The rest is window dressing.
