I don't think he's a clown or a fool and I think he has the potential to be effective (whether people like what he's doing is another matter) but I think the line I've highlighted may be where the big issues arise. He will be told certain things can't be done, other things he wants to do will be blocked by people he can't just fire, he will get caught up in red tape and he won't be able to easily replace people he thinks are incompetent like he can in his own businesses. I could see him getting frustrated by the whole thing and walking away. I certainly won't be surprised if he decides not to run for a second term.the first thing he did the day after becoming president was to go to church, he may be a WUM, but he plays at being the fool, he has built a career of playing the fool and people do underestimate him-normally to their cost.
I met him many moons ago when he was staying at a golf course which my old boss owned. For 2 days i spent alot of time with his staff as i was the liaison for the club. they all loved the guy, he has the ability getting the best out of people, to get them to see something from a different perspective. He has two sets of aids that work shifts otherwise a single team can not keep up with him because of his 4 hour sleep pattern.
He does not like being told something can not be done, he will listen to his teams advice and then choose an option, and he hates red tape.
I liked the guy, seems to have a hard shell but is a warm person underneath (sounds strange), very friendly with his staff. He does have an aura which I have found in lots of powerful people, like Tom Sperring (the owner of Sperring stores, younsters can ask their parents) when i was still working in Southampton and the likes of Branson, and Philip Green when I was working in London.
If people can give him a chance, and put their personal feelings for the guy aside, I think he will do well in a non political way.

Don't want to boast but my Dad wrote Lord Pannick's argumentThe Supreme Court has denied the government's appeal and ruled that there must be a vote in Parliament on Article 50.

And? That's just a **** site. The march was still amazing as many more then "just the right woman" turned up. The site you linked to is a piece of **** as well. Basically bitches about free speech all the time. But right. The women's march website took down lots of women's groups they had invited when they realised the weren't "the right kind of women." They aren't interested in marching for women, they are interested in marching for women "like them" not for womankind at all.
And Madonna is only interested in the free publicity. Lots of money to be made by being seen on the "right" side of the argument.

Edit: actually yes I am boasting because I'm bloody proud of him.

So essentially he's declaring a state of war against his own population.Trump Advancing Keystone, Dakota Oil Pipelines Today, Source Says#1
President Donald Trump intends to take action today to advance construction of the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines, according to a person familiar with the matter.
TransCanada Corp.’s Keystone pipeline was rejected under former President Barack Obama, and Energy Transfer Partners LP’s $3.8 billion Dakota Access project was stalled when the Obama administration halted work on in on land near Lake Oahe in North Dakota amid protests by Native American groups.
The moves, taken on Trump’s fourth full day in office, illustrate his plan to fulfill his campaign pledge to give the oil industry more freedom to expand infrastructure, create jobs and ease transportation bottlenecks.
