I don't think he's a clown or a fool and I think he has the potential to be effective (whether people like what he's doing is another matter) but I think the line I've highlighted may be where the big issues arise. He will be told certain things can't be done, other things he wants to do will be blocked by people he can't just fire, he will get caught up in red tape and he won't be able to easily replace people he thinks are incompetent like he can in his own businesses. I could see him getting frustrated by the whole thing and walking away. I certainly won't be surprised if he decides not to run for a second term.
But right. The women's march website took down lots of women's groups they had invited when they realised the weren't "the right kind of women." They aren't interested in marching for women, they are interested in marching for women "like them" not for womankind at all. And Madonna is only interested in the free publicity. Lots of money to be made by being seen on the "right" side of the argument.
The Supreme Court has denied the government's appeal and ruled that there must be a vote in Parliament on Article 50.
Don't want to boast but my Dad wrote Lord Pannick's argument Edit: actually yes I am boasting because I'm bloody proud of him.
I think the Government and most people were expecting this so I'm sure they have everything all planned to keep everything on track. We shall see.
And? That's just a **** site. The march was still amazing as many more then "just the right woman" turned up. The site you linked to is a piece of **** as well. Basically bitches about free speech all the time.
For the peace process of course. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman approved the construction of 2,500 new housing units in the West Bank on Tuesday. Most of the units are located in settlement blocs, and 100 of which are located in Beit El. On Monday, Netanyahu informed the members of the inner security cabinet that he has decided to lift all restrictions on Israeli construction in East Jerusalem resulting from international diplomatic pressures, two senior officials who have been briefed on what transpired at the meeting said. Netanayhu added that at the same time when construction plans would be promoted in East Jerusalem, he intends to also advance construction in West Bank settlement blocs. http://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/1...1E8C59ECC335E5 Disgusting
As a geography student that has focused on the cryosphere, Trump really has no clue about Antarctic sustainability. Watch it collapse.
Trump Advancing Keystone, Dakota Oil Pipelines Today, Source Says#1 President Donald Trump intends to take action today to advance construction of the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines, according to a person familiar with the matter. TransCanada Corp.’s Keystone pipeline was rejected under former President Barack Obama, and Energy Transfer Partners LP’s $3.8 billion Dakota Access project was stalled when the Obama administration halted work on in on land near Lake Oahe in North Dakota amid protests by Native American groups. The moves, taken on Trump’s fourth full day in office, illustrate his plan to fulfill his campaign pledge to give the oil industry more freedom to expand infrastructure, create jobs and ease transportation bottlenecks. https://www.bloomberg.com/politics/a...kota-pipelines
