When a senior Tory comes out with this sort of comment, about the NHS, the electorate really need to take note, especially if a leave vote gives the three named MPs the impetus to take the party reins. http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/jun/05/john-major-nhs-risk-brexit-pythons-johnson-and-gove
The UK population needs to realise that a Brexit vote isn't for the good of the country. It's for the good a several Tory and UKIP members to obtain power. Everyone below the rich belt will be worse off. This is the working classes effectively tugging their forelocks, admitting that they know their place and that a fair country isn't for the likes of them.
Although I don't agree with your wording I do agree that the ones most likely to suffer from Brexit are the people who need to work to get by. So many of the leave campaign who are saying it will be worth the pain don't need the money or are retired so it won't affect them. Anyone with a job (and I don't think there is a secure job these days) needs to consider what they will do if they lose it and whether it's worth the risk. Obviously not everyone will lose their jobs but nobody knows who will. Having just been through one recession, experienced redundancy and the appalling way the job market is now run I don't fancy repeating it. There will be less jobs created because of the uncertainty and if you are over a certain age there is still discrimination unfortunately.
I don't necessarily agree with the words I used, as they crude and generalised, but it gets the point across.
Regarding the EU debate, Cameron should have flung all the Eurosceptic MPs out of the Tory party when he became party leader, but the real culprit in this referendum nonsense is Tony Blair. The UK should have joined the EURO at its inception then we could have had a real say in EU matters. As it is the £ is at the mercy of the market and will go up and down against the euro.
Check out: www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/07/eu-referendum-fact-check-david-cameron-leave-campaign-claims I am no fan of Cameron, but the lies emanating from the collection of chancers, (I can think of many stronger words), in the leave campaign is a true indictment of how awful political debate in this country has become, inflamed by a biased press. My grandchildren's well being could well depend on a decision to be taken in 2 weeks and the electorate is fed lies. I feel sick to my soul.
Remember me saying last week the people of Northampton shunned Farage and orevente shin having a walkabout? Well this week's local paper is reporting that Mr Farage went for a pint in my local village instead (damn I'd have enjoyed that) with a commentary about the village adorned with Vote Leave posters. I'm going to have to open my eyes this morning and count how many posters I can see. The only thing this village is adorned with is "Say No to Rail Link" banners as developed are trying to build an 8 million square metre rail freight depot that will join us up with the next village (there's another such site just 20 miles up the road!)
The glorious Northampton countryside. A lovely county that is spiked by the M1 and now these developments.
Does anyone have a set of plans for those nuclear shelters we built in the 70s and 80s? I'm thinking of starting a new business. Back in those days we consoled ourselves with the fact that you would need a complete nutter to be elected to push the button and end the world as we know it. Well I think the time has come (or it's very close). Countries with nukes and possible leaders : USA: Donald Trump UK: Boris Johnson France: Marine le Pen North Korea: Kim Jong-un Pakistan - Muslim country pissed off by Donald Trump Iran - Muslim country pissed off by Donald Trump China - Country pissed off by Donald Trump Israel - has Trump insulted the Jews yet? Russia - not too hard to piss off and won't take any bull-**** India - such a renowned peaceful country someone will probably accidentally lean on the button
and I think Serbia will be a fairly safe country because when all the countries surrounding Serbia were trying to block the migrants Serbia didn't - just that none of them wanted to stay here!
Some bloke yesterday at a Leave the EU rally tried to burn an EU flag - but he couldn't light it because it conformed to the latest EU anti-inflammable regulations for materials
