Told you Sturgeon was losing support. That's why she played her hand early. We will have to wait and see I suppose but I would bet May will have about the same as she did have once the actual results are in and that will be her done and dusted. Dead man walking.
Are you doing the Mathematics? I think you mean the DUP. UU may get two at best DUP, 7? That makes 9!! Umm! I think we are looking at an autumn election and Brexit going down the pan. If JC becomes PM he will need the support of all the left of centre of parties who are largely EU friendly as well as many of his MPs.
Amber Rudd to go ? That would be good. Another of the repeaters gone and making way for new talent like Kwasi.
IMPS!! Conservatives need Sarkozy to bash their heads together. Euroscepticism has run its course for now as I think the UK voters have decided there are more pressing issues than Brexit.
Or SNP exceeded expectations in 2015 because prior to that they had a mere handful so perhaps a restoration of parity.
What's also extraordinary: SNP down 22 Seats - that means that Tories are likely to have done well in Scotland, which means they must have done disastrously in England.
UK voters have decided that May the PM is the same May as was Home secretary!!! They will still win. They will probably still hit 330ish, exactly the same as she had before. And that is enough to put her to bed. I am waiting for Lincoln A swolen Uni in a smallish city which is always a wing seat marginal. Majority of 1800 or so for Conservative. Could be interesting.
No, not done the maths properly. You also have to remember Sinn Fein (historically at least) don't take their seats so you don't actually need 325 MPs to win votes. As I say, I think any potential government would struggle with these numbers so an autumn election would be very possible.
Tories will have lost all their English marginals like my one - Lincoln. All those Uni marginals will have swung and be countered by Scottish seats.
Just had a look and his constituency is 2,200 majority 5.2%. Maybe you will be lucky. Was Labour in 2010 so very maybe. Lincoln is a Uni city. a mini metropolitan area on the rise. Lots of people "emigrating" to Lincoln for a nice place to live. Was a narrow win for Leave. Nothing like the rest of Lincolnshire.
