I hope you remember this when Corbyn's relationship to terrorism get's mentioned again. I distinctly remember you saying how fed up with it you were the last time it was mentioned. No mention of we can talk about what we want that time. It’s your opinion that the government is incompetent, but the evidence is that they are doing a great job of resisting being dragged into another catastrophic war which will make everyone in this country worse off.
I haven’t been Starmer’s biggest fan but he is playing a blinder as regards Trump’s lunacy.
When you look at the alternative choices, who would you rather have in charge here? Kemi Badenoch makes herself look more ridiculous every time she opens her mouth, and Farage is just a disgraceful opportunist who has no policies whatsoever apart from anti-immigration. His desire to create another refugee crisis seems a little paradoxical in the light of that.
And thank you for assistance in moderating this board, but we’ll talk about whatever we like here.
I’m not going to go back over Corbyn’s era, life’s too short. The amount of posts about Trump are down to him currently being the most powerful man in the world, whose power seems to have no limit, and whose madness puts no limits on the ruin he can bring to the world.I hope you remember this when Corbyn's relationship to terrorism get's mentioned again. Loading (where is he and Badger?) regularly moaned about how often I posted about trans issues. Don't remember you defending my right to post whatever I liked then. I guess it's really about whether you agree with the subject or not.
If the posts about Trump where just political then their number would be more sensible but because they (the posts) include all sorts of regular trivial fluff, the more important stuff becomes just part of a Trump obsession. It has taken over the politics thread and while, as you say, you can talk about whatever you like, I can complain about whatever I like too.
As for Starmer and his government. His performance is not just about his stance on this current war. He has been appalling in many aspects which I can list for those with blind loyalty. Whether Badenoch or Farage would be better or worse isn't the point because we don't know. What we do know is that it's Starmer's labour government that is making this country a trainwreck and it's them we are burdened with.
I nearly got busted for DIC on my bike in The Hague back in the day. The police were amused when they found I was English, told me I was riding my bike like a Dutchman.Yep, speeding and parking fines etc are a form of indirect taxation on motorists. Don’t expect it to stop anytime soon, in fact there’s more chance of Trump winning a Nobel Peace Prize, than there is of that happening.
It's being reported across media that Farage has posted Cameo videos showing support for neo-Nazi event and far-right slogans. They include videos in which he repeats a motto associated with the UK far right, references antisemitic conspiracy theories and makes misogynistic remarks about left wing politicians – including a comment about the US congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s breasts.
Makes a change from the tangerine turd.
Not surprised you don't want to go back over the Corbyn era because, yet again, it exposes your double standards.I’m not going to go back over Corbyn’s era, life’s too short. Complaining about Starmer’s stance on anything apart from the Iran war is irrelevant right now, because that’s what is happening right now. You have already forgotten that your people ruined this country for 14 years before Labour came back, and while I have little faith in Starmer’s leadership, at last he isn’t licking Trump’s or Putin’s arse.
I like several others on here don't live in the country and feel totally entitled to comment on topics in and other forums also vote in elections. Your comment gives me a nudge to promote overseas voter registration more so since the removal of the fifteen year time limit allowing all British citizens previously resident to register to vote. Not surprised you don't want to go back over the Corbyn era because, yet again, it exposes your double standards.
My people? I have said multiple times on here that I have never voted Tory in my life. Trying to stick that label on me is just to suit your agenda.
I have also said many times that I am disillusioned with all politicians. I don't hang my hat on any political party and I probably won't vote at the next GE, I might vote tactically though just to make sure this current mob are booted into touch. You don't have to be a Conservative to see the obvious.
And if that encourages some to say, in that case you're not entitled to comment, well too bad. If some who don't actually live in this country feel entitled to comment then I certainly am.
Anyway, I've made my feelings known about how this thread is clogged up with all things Trump, relevent or not. I would have left it there if I didn't have to explain myself to at least three separate posters who couldn't be bothered to read what had been posted before.
Un ****ing believableTrump just can’t help himself……..and if my posting about Trump offends anyone…….dont care.
