But Lowe is right about Farage. Reform is nothing without him but , by the same token, he is the liability which is the principle reason why this political oarty cannot be taken seriously .Always a good read John Crace's political sketch https://www.theguardian.com/politic...-to-reform-for-the-comic-relief-in-dark-times opening with:-
"These past few weeks have been grim. The world hasn’t felt less safe in decades. European leaders desperately scrabbling to secure a peace in Ukraine that isn’t a capitulation to Russia. A US manchild president who is giving a convincing impression of a Russian asset. Vladimir Putin struggling to believe his good fortune.
So a big thank you to Reform for providing so much comic relief. Never has the UK needed a good laugh more than now. Which isn’t to say that the very public squabble between Nigel Farage and Rupert Lowe was in any way unexpected."

Men of the people.... Not
Add 30p Lee and what a bunch of ***** you've got.
I’m sure our special friendship with America will have their President rushing to denounce those comments.
In another totally unrelated and totally coincidental incident, the novel I am reading has a Putin launched satellite preparing to launch missiles at 4 major cities in America and 4 in Europe, within the next 36-48 hours.
International Criminal Court has arrested Deuterte in Philippines due to his use of extra judicial killings of people alleged to be drug dealers.
I think this is promising news. They are starting to catch up with people. Putin and Netanayu next, please.
By the way, I find the concept that people are 'jealous' of Musk utterly absurd too. I can only speak for myself, but what on earth would I be jealous of Musk for?
I'm far richer than Musk, because I realise that my worth isn't determined by my bank balance.
I have a family whom I love and who love me.
I have a huge circle of wonderful friends.
I have enough money to survive and to give.
A large proportion of the world don't think I'm a **** (can't speak to everyone on that, but still...)
My only real issue in life is the football team I support.
So why on earth would I have even an iota of jealousy of that guy?
It depends on the situation in the country itself, for Netenyahu and Putin to be caught their country needs to depose them, vote them out or the political environment needs to change significantly.
I don't think Deuterte would have been arrested if Marcos hadn't massively fallen out with his daughter (the current Vice President).

Trump’s attitude to Canada is staggering. Only the treatment of Ukraine has been more alarming.
I can just about get my head around why he believes tariffs are an answer but everything else is so far off the scale to be incredible. Shocked that he wants the US to acquire Canada although I recognise that this was US policy in 19th century. It is completely unreasonable .
However, I think Canada's threat to add 25 per cent for the electricity or even cut the supply off also comes out of the Trump / Putin book.
I see that the stock market is tanking but investment in America is increasing substantially as industry is clearly buying into Trump’s vision. Higher prices fir Anericans but this will bolster their economy in the long term.
