I can’t believe this absolute moron is in such an important position.

“you look poor…. I know. Let’s make you all poorer”

I have real trouble with Irish republican hypocrisy. Shooting and killing 6 month babies? "We're very sorry, but in war there are civilian casualties." Yet when in turn they're shot by the SAS they're ****ing whining and demanding judicial reviews because they should have apparently been arrested instead.

Never mind they were fully armed and had just carried out a terrorist attack on a police station. Yep, let the tax payer fork out again because they faced a 2 way range for the first time and didn't like the outcome.

It's laughable and yet there's current members of this government who support this ****.

I’m surprised that no one has mentioned Trump removing Biden from the classified briefings.

Good on him actually, as Biden did the same to him.

As scary as it is having Trump with all that power, it’s more scary that ex presidents have access to all the intel IMO. No need for it.

Hmmm, I'm not sure you're allowed to speak about Trump in a positive way, I think a boycott's in order.

"You've destroyed any enjoyment I ever gained from this place." <wah>

Biden and Trump, are these two geriatric old twats the best America had to offer as presidents?

A pool of 330 million people and this is the pinnacle....<laugh>
But if Trump carries out his threat to remove everyone born there to foreign parents, will he be deporting everyone who claims to be Scottish American, Irish American etc?
Maybe there will just be native Americans left.
Trump’s mum was Scottish. Perhaps he will deport himself.

Changing direction, and not sure whether this belongs on here, but I’m pretty pissed off with the decision to continue to play a Test Match against Afghanistan.

I was in post-apartheid South Africa a few years back and a lot of people I spoke to told me that the sporting boycott really hurt. It can all be seen as gesture politics, but sport is a great propaganda vehicle. England not playing a match might be small beer. But it’s better than endorsing the Taliban for me.

I think what is worth pointing out is that both the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) also govern and represent women's cricket. Those two bodies should be taking the lead. It shouldn't even be up for discussion, Afghanistan should be told if they want to participate in any international matches, they must accept women's cricket in their country.

Labour managing to shoot themselves in the foot yet further with this somewhat ill-advised 'Trigger Me Timbers' WhatsApp group.

Politicians really can be a bit thick at times...
‘Some’ Politicians not All
Never ceases to amaze me that some people of all ilks don’t understand Social Media and think it’s a private whisper to their mates in a dark corner

Yeah, I mean in fairness I would imagine we've all said things on WhatsApp with mates that probably wouldn't go down brilliantly in a work context, but you'd think that a politician would realise that particularly when in power, and particularly after the way they ran against the silliness of the last lot, they'd need to be squeaky clean in their approach.

You really can't do 'mates' style messaging within a work context.

The comment about the 72 old women complaining about bin collections….”I hope she croaks it before the next elections”
It’s not a great look and definitely needs addressing, just wonder what further messages will come out….doesn’t look good for labour at all.
