Pretty damning.

Occams razor on covid origins has felt like a lab leak was the likeliest cause for a while. If these testimonials are correct then a raft of severe repercussions is much needed for China.

Almost a hilarious situation that this crossed Raab's desk, that guy was so out of his depth at the top of politics.

I agree, it was always the most likely but I thought this was an interesting article that included a few details that were unknown to me at least. It's a worry that one lab with poor safety standards is responsible for over 7 million deaths so far.

What was the story about Raab? That's seems to have passed me by too.

Scary that China are going to be a global superpower soon.

Just that Raab was foreign sec at the time and when this was initially raised by Blinken in a meeting, Raab just flat out refused to believe the lab leak theory out of hand.
 
The Ministry of Justice website, the part that is used for processing divorces, was operating incorrectly for 6 months in 2022.
Apparently you can’t apply for a divorce until the day after your first marriage anniversary but the website had been allowing people to start the process on the day of their first anniversary, making the divorce legally unsafe.
Not many divorces were finalised during this glitch (79 iirc) but there could be some people who have remarried who are now technically bigamists.
The benefits of doing everything online I guess.
 
Just went onto the Leeds thread to check out the match day thread. Quiet at the mo

Popped onto their Politics Thread and they have their own resident ranter. There’s stuff on there I’m sure we wouldn’t allow here

Helped me to appreciate what we have here and that we do ok considering how bad social media can get

It does explain why many will still vote for a Conservative regime despite the complete scorn that party has shown for the "ordinary working person". Ho hum.

It is pretty spectacular that the best they can do is an 81 year old (82 by the time a second term would start) and an also elderly demented sociopath.

If I was an American i'd still absolutely be voting for Biden though, Trump is a genuine threat to us all. Biden is just old and uninspiring.
