Just heard this on Jeremy Vine, pictures of Donald Trump's gaudy interior design have been posted on twitter after his Covid infection news, just how long has had this lack of taste?...

Unless Biden tests positive too, then we are back as we were :)

Actually, I apologise for making light of your excellent post. I can't help this feeling that this is playing into Trump's hands a little too much and he is behind it. But then I am just as bad as Karen form Facebook with all her conspiracy theories.

Just found out that Mike Pence's Mrs is called Karen. Coincidence? Hm...

Trump's already being airlifted to hospital. As a precaution. While receiving an experimental therapy.

Hmm. Think of the optics there. Mr Big Tough Man who hates hospitals. That’s not just a precaution.

He also hasn’t tweeted in 17 hours which is a sure sign he’s not well

And this is after less than 48h. Boris was admitted to hospital after 10 days, and his worst symptoms occurred after nearly two weeks.

And they have a nearly full blown hospital in the White House.

May sound cruel, but I’m not going to lose sleep over him.

Yeah. I don’t wish him ill. But I’m finding it pretty hard to wish him well; and I don’t feel bad about that.

That's me 100%. DOn't wish him ill, but really can't wish him well. If he gets worse ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, if he gets better ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Mind you, seems to be walking to the helicopter fine, so not on his last legs.

Didn't look too good in his tweet before he left - especially as it is staged to make him look as healthy as possible IMO.

Maybe I am looking too much into it.

Donald Day 2. ‘I am in hospital, a very wonderful, wonderful American hospital full of great great Doctors and nurses and machines the like of which you’ve never seen. Great machines, we are going to be rolling them out when I’m done. I’m here to supervise my recovery and have met with some good people today to tell them my treatment plan... they are out buying Domestos as I speak to you. I dont want you to worry... we will beat Sleepy Joe when we get this election show back on the road in 2022. In the meantime I’m going to have a beautiful, beautiful sleep I’ve just ordered the surgeon general to unplug this bleeping thing next to me and we’re good to go nightnights. Back tomorrow (I hope). God Bless America.

I don't love the timing. Five months earlier and tens of thousands of lives would have likely been saved; a month later and he at least sees the consequences of his actions. Man can't even be considerate when catching a dread disease through his own stupid actions.

The Trump Spreadathon is now at: the President, the First Lady, 2 Senators, 2 top aides/advisors, the president of a university, several journalists, and about a dozen workers at the debate. Expectations are that it'll rise. What a remarkable triumph of leadership and competence.
