Bernie Sanders managed to beat Hillary Clinton in Michigan last night. A massive upset in the race for the Democratic nomination. Polls and projections gave him a chance of winning Michigan of less than 1%.

http://news.sky.com/story/1657644/man-filmed-punching-trump-rally-protester This is the sort of thing that gives Americans a bad name. We can only hope he is a minority although the way Trump is so popular maybe he isn't.
The Americans are doing themselves no favours at the moment. I bet the Isis Properganda machine is using Trumps descrepancies to their advantage. God help us all if he gets to the White House!!!

Exactly what many Americans say about Trump. A billionaire born with a silver spoon in his mouth is "one of the people". Bizarre, frankly.

He's not very popular. He has terrible approval ratings. Somewhere between 65 and 70 percent of Americans dislike him. It's depressing that it isn't higher, but still you would think that leaves him no chance. The issue is that here in the US, we have trouble getting people to vote. The people who do like Trump are maniacs. And you can't dissuade them with logic, because if they used their brains they never would have embraced Trump in the first place. His path to winning is basically to get his hardcore 30% to all turn up. Then maybe get another 5% from Republicans who do not like him but feel they somehow must make a stand for their party. Then hope that of the remaining people, not enough of them show up to vote.
I think I read somewhere that he is not even attracting anywhere close to 50% of the republican vote and if the other candidates had got behind one guy, then they could have prevented this from getting too far
I'm the son of a milkman so was born with a silver top in my mouth. I must admit though that as I got older my mum changed that to stripey top as she said it was healthier. I was happy because I called it Saints Milk.
I was bitterly disappointed when I discovered by cutting a tube open that red and white striped toothpaste wasn't striped inside the tube. My mother wasn't too happy about it either.
