They talk about "sporting integrity" when everyone knows the only thing that really matters is the name on the trophy. If everyone was so concerned about "sporting integrity", it would still be an amateur game, played for fun by boys wearing massive mustaches and long sleeved tops. :huh:

They know deep down that the only "tainted" titles are the ones they've been handed on a plate over the last couple of years due to the complete inability of any other club in the premiership to mount a serious challenge. <laugh> Adrian Durham handed their heads to them on a plate a couple of weeks ago and they will be beelin' that a respected commentator from outside the goldfish bowl has stated the obvious.

They also know that we're on our way back - we have a superb manager (who is only just getting started) backed up by talented backroom staff, and a team on the pitch that is shaping up very nicely.

They had to release something as their AGM is coming up fast; having a go at us keeps their yahoo element happy enough so that they are deflected from poor results in europe, a manager who is clearly out of his depth and financial results that would otherwise require questioning.

Some rocket in the Daily Ranger today arguing that we have an unfair advantage because we have more money than other SPFL teams and that is somehow comparable with Rangers signing players using a dodgy tax avoiding scheme.

That's like arguing Usain Bolt has an unfair advantage because he runs faster than everybody else.

"So Usain, you've failed your latest drug test but that's okay because you run pretty fast without them anyway".

There really are some ******ed arguments that EBTs were not advantageous, which makes you wonder why Rangers (RIP) used them in the first place.

It's a moot point anyway, SDM admitted (and he's on record) that EBTs were specifically used because they were "a method of us acquiring, especially football wise, better players in a more cost effective manner than we would be able to do so’; and that "the club had been very ambitious at that time; and it was seen as a correct and proper way for us to proceed; that Rangers have been very successful, because we’ve been able to attract players of a certain standard that, perhaps, we may not have been able to otherwise.”
