This new culture we have as fans of micro-managing the club and perusing every detail of its fiscals is not healthy and leads to paranoia and suspicion. It takes us away from being supporters to wannabe administrators and directors. A Walter Miity world of fantasy boardroom.

<laugh><rofl>

Oh the ****ing irony, from the man who told us even David Cameron is out to destroy Rangers.

The fact that the attacks on Ashley come from both ends of the political spectrum support the contention of a high-level, cross-party conspiracy to keep Rangers under as a crippled force in both football and society in general.

Not paranoia

Had a read at the comments and fair dues, some of them get it.

Sorry Bill I normally have a lot of time for your posts but this absolute nonsense.

The club is on the verge of going under again and you appear to be advocating the current wages policy is justified because we are The Rangers.
Spending money you don’t have is one of the main reasons the club is in its current perilous state.
Little wonder that supporters of other clubs are enjoying our current predicament, who can blame them.

I grew up literally 2 mins walk from this road, but the stupidity of these ****ing humans still astounds me - to have any desire to pointlessly march up a road - or to leave their house and go protest against ****s walking up a road.

<laugh>

I'm the same Mick, I know I shouldn't be surprised but I usually am when it comes to human beings. I used to say 80% of people are morons, I may have to re-evalute my estimate. Why anyone would either want to march around like that or go and hurl abuse at them will be a mystery to me till the day I die, I simply don't understand it. It sadly seems that hate is their main motivation, and a blind refusal to adapt, build bridges and move on. It's like the old days of the Clans in the Scottish highlands.

Its all everyone else's Fault

RANGERS chairman David Somers has blamed the fans for running a campaign that he insists is hampering the club. In a statement released ahead of this morning’s agm at which there is expected to be fireworks, Somers hit out at the "negativity" surrounding Ibrox. He blasted ticket boycotts and the media for not portraying a more positive message and revealed he’ll likely have to borrow yet more money.

Somers said: "In these past 12 months, I have been surprised at a number of things.
"Firstly, the highly negative aspect of most of the media reporting regarding Rangers. "Secondly, because it is clear to me that a stronger Rangers is good for Scottish football, I have been very disappointed to realise that outside of Ibrox, there sadly still exists a great deal of anti-Rangers feeling, perhaps (although I hope not) even in the football establishment.

"Rangers return to the top flight of our game, I am sure you will agree, will be more easily achieved if everyone who cares about the club works together for the betterment of Rangers. This turbulent year has seen people calling for a season ticket boycott, seen the disruptive creation of a season ticket trust for a while and other negative ideas. "Such negativity is expensive for Rangers as it reduces season ticket and overall ticket sales, increasing the likelihood that I will have to borrow money to cover the shortfalls created. "Our path to restoring Rangers to where we all want the club to be, can only be achieved with the continued support of all supporters, shareholders and business partners."

Somers added: "My personal goals remain what they were 12 months ago. "Namely to ensure that the events of Rangers' recent past can never happen again; to cleanse the club of these events, and also to ensure that Rangers gets back to the top in football. "I now recognise that we will not get much support outside of Ibrox for this – we have to do it ourselves. And we will."

RANGERS chiefs were today branded "scum", "rats" and "stooges" as fans unleashed unrelenting rage at the agm.

Cries of "out, out, out" and "spivs" also rang round the ground and before a board that could barely have been placed any further away from the shareholders.

John Brown launched a full-on assault and referred to Sandy and James Easdale as 'stooges' and the top table, Derek Llambias apart, as 'rats'.
