A (not so) long long time ago , there was a football club , an institution ingratiated within its country’s society , it’s people were the majority and they were the biggest club in the land

There was another club , from the same city that also was an institution , but a club that had invariably played second fiddle to the biggest club in the land

The second biggest club in the land got a wealthy backer from another country , he invested some money into that club , and as he was doing so he started to change the way they played the game of football

Alas , not on the pitch though , this club began acting in a covert way , changing where they paid their taxes , putting politicians on its board of directors , changing the name of its company and slowly began to infiltrate the footballing authorities of the land

They put men in positions of power , placemen if you like to call them , that began to make friends with the other provincial clubs and coercion was commonplace among them

They made allies with the football authorities , the smaller clubs too , then set about controlling the media of the land , the influence of the politicians and the power of the second biggest club in the land couldn’t be ignored any longer

We had the unsightly face of sectarianism rubbed in the biggest club in the land’s faces , the club was branded bigoted and the followers of the biggest club were branded as a stain on society in the land

It became obvious to the Rangers followers that if there was a sectarian issue that needed highlighted , it would be highlighted at the gates of the biggest club in the land’s home

It was being manipulated to show that these gates were “the gates of hell” where all that was wrong in our society was laid firmly at the biggest club in the land and it’s followers

Meanwhile , across the city at the second biggest clubs home , they were suggesting that they had no problems with sectarianism

Hey , at one point their manager even marched a big tub of popcorn over to their supporters at Rangers home (after a heavy beating) and deflected the tub of popcorns bigoted actions in an act of incredible defiance , then they went on to the compliant television channel and branded the biggest club in the land and it’s followers bigots

Oh , the irony of that , that bucket of popcorn twice used sectarian terms against the Rangers manager that day , but deflection and sweeping was what the followers of the biggest club in the land was about to become commonplace

The second biggest club was proactive at this point , ex cabinet ministers , MP’s and bankers all being put in position to attack the biggest club in the land

And they went to work attacking the biggest club in the land , for years they did their hatchet job

All the while Minty did nothing , powerless to stop the onslaught , politicians , football authorities , media and the hidden decision makers tried to destroy the biggest club

It allowed the second biggest to save themselves , at the expense of the biggest , the followers were helpless to counter the attack

They stood defiant as the politicians and powers gave the second biggest club land , money and power , but then an incredible thing happened

The politicians had made a pact , that the tax collectors would destroy the biggest club in the land , they wouldn’t let go and forever demanded more , until the owner of the biggest , well he gave up

He had problems , money was short and business was bad , so the owner he took his eye off the ball , he became apathetic and ignored the situation that was evolving around him

So now the second biggest club had power , it had some money , it had the media in its control , it had the government of the day in its pocket , it had placed it’s people in the footballing authorities , in fact they were the football authorities

The biggest club in the land had an incredible defiance and were successful , despite the battles it faced , fighting on four fronts for success , and that is when a term came into being , forever in folklore , that term was “sporting integrity”

You see that is when the biggest club in the land realised that any power it had had been snatched away , conspired against they tried to succeed with no help from those they need it most , defiant and proud the followers of the biggest club marched on regardless

It was noticeable to the followers that they were now regarded as lepers in their own land , a concerted campaign to humiliate them and destroy them had unfolded

The media in all it’s shiny clothes attacked them , the government beat them ferociously , the authorities gave them no help , in fact they aided and abetted the media and all the other enemies of the biggest club

Then one day , Minty gave up , he just stopped , he gave the biggest club in the land away , to an evil man

The evil man did heinous things to the biggest club in the land , he single handedly played right into all it’s enemies

He destroyed the biggest club in the land , and that was when we found that we were alone , but as ever the followers remained defiant

They came in their droves to salute the biggest club , proud of their heritage and they took the long road back to the promised land

Many obstacles continued to be thrown in their path , the football authorities used blackmail and threats to try to downsize the biggest club

They made the journey as hazardous as was conceivably possible , but still the followers followed

The journey almost complete , the followers are at a crossroads , many sickened by the onslaught , the attacks , the hate , the never ending fight to carry on has been bitter and fraught with danger

We have seen many men come and go from the biggest club , some good , some not so good but the followers are fewer now , but they will come back and follow the biggest club when progress is made

Hard times , financially and emotionally have bitten deep , many followers can’t see any light at the end of the tunnel , big there will be

Sooner rather than later the fight for survival will be won , and that is when the second biggest club in the land will realise they’ve awoken a wounded animal , a sleeping giant , and he will be vengeful

The second biggest club in the land has manipulated politicians , the media and the other rivals of the biggest club in the land , it has also infiltrated the corridors of power within Scottish football , but it won’t last , nothing ever does

What we must do is remember that we are the biggest football club in the country , now , before and in the future , we are Rangers , it is jealousy and fear that brought us to this , don’t doubt it , their hatred is borne of fear

Pacts will be broken , and friendships severed , we should be ready , we should be united and willing

Celtic Football Club and The Labour Party , united as one , but it won’t be forever , nothing ever is , Rangers are the biggest and proudest club in the land , our enemies should be scared of us

Get political , get motivated and get even , don’t forget that We Are The People … KEEP THE FAITH , gentlemen …

I couldn't even read it all - just skimmed read it. It's ****ing mad that folk think like that on both sides.

The Telegraph article was pathetic , I got sent if this morning and got half way through it and chucked it
This rag hates Mike Ashley , therefore hates Newcastle Utd and now Rangers , guilty by association it would appear
Which is nice , strike a notch on the belt , another media outlet that has it in their ethos that we are wrong uns

You write of conspiracy Bill , and yes there&#8217;s no question that there&#8217;s been a campaign against us
We all know it and we&#8217;ve all seen it for years , the blatant hatred of Rangers , Protestantism and Unionism , but why ?
David Murray gave us success beyond compare , but with it brought jealousy , fear and loathing , which didn&#8217;t bother us at all , did it ?

We milked it for all it was worth , and rightly so , we were the greatest club in the land and left our rivals trailing almost yearly
We did nine in a row , something that Celtic fans detest , they still don&#8217;t like it being mentioned , do it often folks when you&#8217;re around them , it&#8217;s fun <laugh>The thing is though , when Murray decided that he couldn&#8217;t give Rangers the financial backing he&#8217;d done before , he left us vulnerable

Look back , think back to the time when the media was scared to say a word against us , think back to when the SFA knew we were bigger and stronger than them

Not that long ago really is it ? So what changed ?

Well Murray&#8217;s apathy for a start , this dignified silence bullshit that got us nowhere fast <laugh>

HMRC deciding they were going to make an example of us , the Labour government deciding on a no tolerance campaign against sectarianism

Remember Jack McConnell ? His rambling nonsense , remember all these different organisations that all turned round and said we were the bigots ?
Think to the BBC , every time they had an article on sectarianism or bigotry , where was it they went to film it ? Yip , The gates at Ibrox

Remember the campaign to get us banned from Europe ? All these people hidden away and suggesting that if was Rangers with the bigot followers , no one else , just us

My thinking would be that Murray sat and did very little to defend us , too busy trying to keep his business afloat , which is fair enough I suppose but what about the other board members at the time ?

At that point in recent history , Dermot Desmond was and still is calling the shots at Celtic Park

He put an ex Bank of England man in place , John Reid a cabinet minister just weeks before came in , another MP also , among other less high profile board members

This all coincides with the plan for a referendum , it also coincides with the bid for the commonwealth games , and the regelation of the east end of Glasgow <confused>

At the same point as Celtic were getting a helping hand from The Labour Party , we were being chased for a tax debt that inevitably we weren&#8217;t even due to pay , who was it again that was in power at the time ?

Desmond has powerful allies , both politically and in the media , a media that he is massively involved in worldwide , I must add
Who has the power to crucify an institution time and again , for years on things like we had to deal with ?
Were or are we the only club that has a problem with social problems ie bigotry ? Not a chance , our city rivals take top prize on that score , always have done

Targeted by government body&#8217;s , the media , the SFA , UEFA , the lust if haters is endless
HMRC continue to this day to lose the big tax case , The SFA and SPFL are potless , UEFA have had to deal with CFC and it&#8217;s moron element numerous times now , yet UEFA toss Legia Warsaw out of the champions league for the smallest misdemeanour , it pays to have friends in high places

Rangers have been targeted due to its peoples politics , it&#8217;s association with Unionism and it&#8217;s owner being a target for our government

Celtic have an association with The Labour Party , a very very strong association , that affiliation stems from the links to both , we ignored it for a generation

The links to Celtic , Glasgow City Council and The Labour Party at a higher level in the UK means that they&#8217;ve been allowed to have a free path to success

Make sure the referendum is close by using divide and conquer tactics with those that will traditionally vote in favour of the UK
Keep Rangers damaged and fragmented while Celtic get the regeneration of the area surrounding their ground effortlessly and silently

Give them a free run at the Champions League , free run at TV revenue and the easiest league to win , just to make sure they thrive

How were Celtics finances way back in 08 by the way ?

This isn&#8217;t a Celtic conspiracy , it&#8217;s a Labour one , look at some of the people that have prospered due to their links with the Labour Party , &#8220;Celtic minded people&#8221; I hasten to add

Dermot Desmond put these people in positions of power at Celtic , John Reid , Brian Quinn , Wilson , Macloed , that&#8217;s the conspiracy , The Labour Party and Celtic , or more pertinently The Labour Party and Dermot Desmond .. But WHO is the hidden hand in this conspiracy to kill Rangers ? Who is it that gains most and who is it that planned it all , and all the while people at Rangers either knew and did nothing , or sat on their arses and couldn&#8217;t see it when it was blatantly obvious to a fair few
Mike Ashley will be driven away unless he chooses to fight against it , is he up off the fight ?

No idea to be honest but whoever owns or runs Rangers is always going to be a target for the compliant media and the politicians that planned this

We're through the looking glass here people, this conspiracy seems to involve thousands of people from the writers of the Telegraph right up to David Cameron.
 
Bill and my fellow Brothers, I would like to post tonight regarding the hatred towards our beloved club and fans, but I need to think deeper of my life long concerns before I put it down in writing. I myself have put up with a lifetime (52 years) of constant hatred and abuse due to being born in a predominately catholic area in the East End of Glasgow (Carntyne) because I was born a Protestant Rangers fan. The abuse became worse due to the fact there was no work around I joined the British army at 16yo, I joined a flute band when young but told no one in the area (for obvious reasons lol) but I needed to find friends somewhere (the flute band was based in Dennistoun) I also became a member of a L.O.L as a natural progression and then on to ABOD, during all these years I was never a hater/bigot I was simply a young man proud of his own Culture and Heritage and felt natural and safe around his own. I still to this day as a Christian man hate no one who bares me no malice, but I have had over the years been the subject of bullying and downright sectarian hatred that as a child could not understand as my parents never introduced or wanted me any part of it. Of course after years of this sectarian hatred I became a man and could stand up for myself it was no longer a physical threat only verbal. I agree that my postings on here do not make me popular with some as they are pro-Orange and anti- Republican but that is not sectarian its just down to the fact I served in N.I 3 times as well as other places. It seems to me these days in Scottish society that being a Protestant, Rangers fan. Orange Brother or Unionist is reason enough to be hated/despised and that is one main reason I took my family when my kids got to school age and moved them to England, one thing that confirmed to me I made the right decision was the disgraceful Referendum recently, where the hate seemed as bad I witnessed during the 70s &#8211; early 80s. My opinion is we allowed haters who we welcomed into our wee country gain power through the ballot box whilst we where complacent and content/smug and took everything for granted attitude ??? They thrived and took up positions of power as we seen no threat but once they had a voice they as a minority ate their way into a campaign of persecution against the majority. We as Unionists until recently are all to blame ! We stood back and watched it happen and now we still reap what we sowed ! WAKE UP AND TRY CHANGE IT BEFORE WE CAN&#8217;T !!!
I will put down more when I am ready, but believe me Brothers the threat is real and still there.

I grew up in Dennistoun and I can assure you Carntyne/Haghil is chock full O' Rangers fans, it's not some hotbed of Celtic fanatacism as this loonball is suggesting.

Some loony tune was on the Clyde last night wanting Celtic to publicly condemn it. Aye righto, what next, Rangers condemning 'BJK' that was scribbled on a midden?
