Agreed, It's crazy. Juve mugged Utd for Pogba. I'm not saying he's not a good player, but he's not an £89m player.

Do you think Alli is a better player than Pogba?

I do. A lot better player.

If United had to pay £89m for a player that Juve didn't want, how much do you think a club is going to have to pay for a player who is better and who Levy doesn't want to sell?

Work it out, Desperado-Boy, and let us your answer when you have stopped pulling at your little chipolata.

What mug you are Tyler! How can you compare a defensive midfielder to a forward? The mere fact united paid 89 million for him speaks volumes and wouldn't be surprised if he pops up at the Lame with the winning goal for United. What sweet irony that would be. :emoticon-0136-giggl

Pogba is ridiculously overpriced at £89mill, despite what Maureen may claim.

Dele has only just turned 21. You'd certainly be looking well into nine figures to buy him.

Nine figures? I don't think the world of football has gone quite that mad quite yet.

Nearly that crazy, maybe. But not actually that nuts, not just yet.

<laugh> Gotta love Spurs fans. And they call West Ham deluded (they're right about that bit, obviously. But still).

What part of defensive midfielder and forward don't you get?

Absolutely nothing to do with their respective positions. It has everything to do with perceived value.

Dele is an attacking midfielder who not only scores freely 21 goals this season. But assists too, 6 this season so far.

He's just 21. Clearly has the ability to be a world class talent. You're not gonna buy him for anything less than nine figures!

Depends if you actually think they paid 89m purely for his footballing ability or not.

Pogba is up there with the most marketable sportsmen in the world. Dele Alli is an awkward lad from Milton Keynes.

United will make back their Pogba money purely because they will sell, sell and sell. Pogba is a brand, Dele Alli isn't.

That's not me scoffing at Alli's abilities, he's one of the best young players in the world. Pogba is also a great player but he can sell shirts, fragrances, boots and all the rest of it.

It's also why Griezmann will cost a shed load. Great player but United will 'overpay' because he's marketable.

Dele Alli won't be the first 100m player. He's simply not worth it.

Dele Alli will become every bit as marketable as Pogba if he chooses to go down that route.

Bollocks you drunken old fecker <laugh> another Spud who think a young right backs worth the same as Greizmen.

That suits us Spurs fans just fine, because I doubt that Levy would put a price-tag of less than £120m on his head, and that means that no one will come in for him.

Sorted.

I think it's you that's pissed, pal, if you see Dele as a right back

And, I wouldn't classify Pogba as a DM either. He's supposedly the 'box to box' midefielder.
You said respective positions don't matter which is utter bollocks. Generally most of the worlds biggest transfer prices are paid out on forwards then come back and apologise you pissed up old wind bag.
