Just seen the Premier League tweet, as they regularly do - about certain players' values based on a certain method/analysis they do.

Today they rated Rickie Lambert as being worth £6m.

So my question is, what would you value our players at one-by-one? (and be reasonable and fair!!)

DTLW

£6m for a 30 year old who has never played above the Championship seems very fair. That said, I'd be shocked if we accepted a £6m bid because he's worth more than that to us.

That's the issue. I want to try and get people to honestly value the players, and not just say how much they are worth to us so we don't end up with silly fees like £100m for Lambert.

Very difficult because you have to weigh age and potential. Shaw and JWP for instance might IMO cost more than Rickie because of that.

But you also have to weigh current ability and I would say that Shaw and JWP's value should not yet be larger than Rickie's.

If we take Rickie at £6m as the bench mark where do we place others?

The apparently low price for Lambert probably based on lack of PL experience and age, but probably not far off the truth. Doubt Nicola would sell him for 6 million though, so there are two prices: realistic one and the one we'd sell for.

Lallana 6 million (S/P 10 million)
Cork 4/5 million (S/P 7 million)
Fox 4 million (S/P 5 million)
Spider 5 million (S/P 7 million)
Forecast 0 (S/P -1 million + tesco vouchers)

Have to point out that I am pulling these figures from thin air and will not defend them to the death.

Folks these values are for the premier league fantasy football, not actual values....

For me.. in millions

Davis 5
Richardson 5.2
Fonte 5.5
Hooiveld 6
Fox 6.3
Guly 6
Schneiderlin 6
Cork 6.2
Lallana 7.5
Lambert 6
Rod 7.6

edit: completely forgot S Davis! 7

Doesn't mention fantasy in the first post, I thought we were talking about transfer value?

Ok I didn't explain clearly. Apologies.

This is the value placed upon Rickie Lambert in fantasy football. If he really was valued at £6m do you think that is fair? And what would you value others at?

For some perspective:

Suarez - £9.5m
Giroud - £9m
Tevez - £9m
Jelavic - £8.5m
Lambert - £6m
Pogrebnyak - £5m

Fair?

Fantasy is a joke. It has nothing to do with the transfer market values.

We wouldn't sell Lambert for under 20m I wouldn't have thought
