According to Bristol Rovers FC news Notts. Forest are thinking of trying to sign Tom Lockyer

According to football index focus Forest have made a bid for Lockyer. Nothing on the Rovers site or on Sky transfer rumours confirming that a bid has been made or recieved

If DC wants to take the new signings to Holland with him he is going to have to get a move on as I believe they are travelling on Monday
 
I notice Ellis Harrison has not been in the squad to face Yeovil or todays squad to face FGR. Is he injured or talking to other clubs.
Menayese and Sinclair are both still injured, former recovering from an op and the latter from last seasons injury
 
No news re Dominic Telford Stoke dont mention although they did mention extended his contract
Even no comments re his future on his twitter.

If Harrison leaves that leaves us with 1 untried striker ( Reilly) at this level and 1 ( Nichols ) who unfortunately cant hit the side of a barn.
With Gaffney having already left we need reinforcements quickly otherwise trying to stay out of the bottom 6 will be the priority rather than trying for the top 6
I believe we need at least 1 LB 2 if we can get them CD 2 if Lockyer leaves and 2 strikers

Is football index a fantasy / fiction site, some one called Neil Burnip reckons Tom Nichols is on his way to Sunderland

Never heard anything, is he any good? Position?

I've just read up about him. I can't understand why would want him, unless he'll be a 4th choice striker.
 
Would Ipswich pay £1.6m for a fourth choice striker? He's a very good all rounder who's quite underrated. Had a very good season last time out.
 
Went to the open day at the Mem and was told that Ellis Harrison has signed for Ipswich, when DC was asked by a supporter if there would be a replacement though he didn't confirm that Ellis had left said I am waiting to see how much the board will give me.
I asked Tom lockyer if he was staying and he said where else would I be, I said that I had read comments in the press and he just that's Ellis not me
 
I was at the Mem too. DC actually confirmed on the pitch when being interviewed that Harrison will be signing for a championship club and will be confirmed Monday.

This will just leave us with Nichols and Reilly <laugh> We are in all sorts of trouble now. Unless DC can find 2/3 strikers in under 2 weeks and get them match fit and gelling nicely.
