Player Ratings thus far

I know this is an odd time to be doing this, but wondered what everyone's ratings (/10) are for the players so far.

Here's mine:

Hugo Lloris - 9/10 - For me he has been our best player this season so far. He seems very composed, I never get that 'worry' that he's going to mess up a backpass or drop a standard save



Younès Kaboul - 7.5/10 - Obviously he was oustanding against the scum, and rightly deserved the MOTM award. The signs are there that he is gradually getting back to the level he used to be - happy for him to keep starting.

Jan Vertonghen - 7/10 - I hope he keeps starting and goes on to form the partnership with Kaboul that we all crave. Attitude seems better this season, and whilst there's obviously something going on with regards to his not signing a new contract, on the field he's been pretty consistent.

Vlad Chiricheș - 5/10 - Hasn't featured much, I can't really remember him impressing me.

Eric Dier - 7/10 - Started well with the 2 goals in 2 matches. Impressed with him, his versatility will be useful throughout the season. A real gem.

Federico Fazio - 5/10 - I saw him play in a Europa League match. I think he got fairly ok reviews but I remember not being particularly impressed. Definitely think he will come good, but so far I've yet to see it.

Danny Rose - 8/10 - Consistent, solid, starting to look the business. Currently keeping Davies out of the team, and rightly so. Maybe this could be a repeat of Lennon upping his game once we bought Bentley.

Kyle Naughton - 7/10 - I thought he might have moved on in the summer, but has actually been pretty solid this season. Hard to call whether him or Dier should be starting the RB slot.

Ben Davies - 6/10 - Not had the impact I hoped, but still early days.



Benjamin Stambouli - I will abstain from giving him a rating as I cannot recall much about his performances (perhaps that is a sign)

Étienne Capoue - 8/10 - Playing like he did at the start of last season, he's made that defensive midfield position his own. Very impressed.

Paulinho - 4/10 - Just not working for him. Poch has tried him as the number 10 behind Kane in Europa matches, but he just doesn't seem to have any impact. He's dropped so far down the pecking order (surely behind Mason now) that I don't know if I'd miss him if he left.

Mousa Dembélé - 6.5/10 - I've not been overly impressed, but also don't think he's done much too bad

Nabil Bentaleb - 7/10 - Great to see him continuing his development. People have raved about how he does the simple stuff well, short passes etc.

Christian Eriksen - 5/10 - One of my favourite players, things just don't seem to be working for him right now. Should he be dropped? It's hard to say, he's capable of magic and I'd hate to miss out on his free kicks.

Ryan Mason - 7/10 - Early days, can't wait to see more of him though. Seems passionate about the club, which is great.

Aaron Lennon - 6.5/10 - In my mind he has suddenly become one of the 'veterens' on the club - no longer a starter but an experienced head we can bring on to help with defensive duties or lead counter attacks.

Erik Lamela - 7.5/10 - Slightly off the boil recently (still got an assist against the scum), but much, much improved from last year. Keep playing him, maybe with Soldado if Ade is gonna be dropped) and I'm sure he'll continue to impress. Read somewhere that he has 6 assists already - fair play.

Andros Townsend - 7/10 - Had a good game recently, but not set the world alight. Says he thinks he can shine in Poch's system once he gets used to it - we'll see.

Nacer Chadli - 8/10 - I have a mate who supports Sunderland who asked in the summer the likelihood of them getting Chadli on loan for the season, and I replied something along the lines of "probably, he's done f** all for us". Now our top scorer with 4 goals in 5 appearances, he's proving me wrong. Fair play to him, growing in confidence and a definite starter these days.



Roberto Soldado - 6.5/10 - Injuries have kept him out of the team for much of the season. Still think he's an intelligent player, hoping his gets a run of a few games. Seen some pundits suggest he needs a striking partner - maybe try him alongside Kane.

Emmanuel Adebayor - 6.5/10 - He's been involved in some of our play, but not scored enough goals. As we all already know, seemed lacklustre and lazy against the scum. I'd like to see Soldado played next match.

Harry Kane - 7/10 - Completely justified his position as third striker in my eyes - got a few goals, some nice link up. Keep going Harry!

Lloris - 9/10 - Some outstanding saves, and hasn't looked as weak on his near post as he did for the last couple of seasons

Kaboul - 7.5 - looked shaky in the first few games, but was immense in the NLD
Vertonghen - 6.5 - has made a couple of notable defensive lapses
Dier - 7 - was immense against the Spammers and QPR, but had a 'mare against the Mousers
Fazio - 7 - showed promise in his first couple of games, although he clearly needs time to bed in
Chiriches - 6 - hasn't impressed when he has played, and still makes one howler per game
Rose - 7.5 - has been a much better player this season, Liverpool game aside
Naughton - 7 - has been solid when called up, and so far hasn't made any blunders like he used to
Davies - 6.5 - has looked solid but not spectacular

Stambouli - 7 - was looking sharp against Partizan until he was clogged, and looks to be a useful addition to the engine room
Capou - 8 - shown a lot of composure, once again making Sherwood look like a dimwit for never playing him
Paulinho - anonymous when he plays unless he scores, making him the new Jenas
Dembele - 6.5 - not the player he was two seasons ago when he plays
Bentaleb - 7 - he's been solid in midfield but so far hasn't taken games by the scruff of the neck like we need him to do
Eriksen - 6.5 - he may not be grabbing the headlines like last season but he's been a useful player dropping deep to help press the opponents
Mason - 7 - a good goal against Forest and put in a good shift in the NLD
Lennon - 6.5 - doesn't take on defenders as much as he used to, but has been a useful weapon from the bench
Lamela - 7.5 - immense against QPR, won 2/3 of our free kicks against the Spammers, turned the game around against Limassol and injected life against Partizan
Townsend - 6 - continues to waste good build-up play by shooting from thirty yards
Chadli - 7 - the goals are useful, but he does seem to vanish in games, plus he left Rose horribly exposed against Liverpool

Soldado - 6.5 - coming back from injury, but so far the only player to turn Townsend's worst attribute into goals
Adebayor - 6 - been anonymous far too often, and his habit of drifting wide wastes our attacks
Kane - 7 - continues to be a useful weapon from the bench

I'm pretty much in agreement with the OP in a 'ballpark figure' sort of way. I'd maybe knock Kaboul down to a 6.5 or a 6 because he was pretty dire for the first couple of games. If he can keep up his NLD form then I'll be pleased but he needs to show he can keep up the form and fitness for a while longer yet. Lamela has plenty of assists and is working hard so I'd probably agree on his score, although I can see that some would think thats a little generous a rating. Fazio could maybe be a 6.5 because he's looked quite solid to me. I wouldn't give Stambouli or Mason ratings because neither have played enough for them really, although I've been impressed with both when I've seen them. A 4 for Paulinho and a 6.5 for Ade is generous in my eyes! And I'd knock Kane down to a 6.5 with Soldado. I also sadly have to agree with Eriksen's rating, although I think there is far more to come from him and I think we'll see it in due course. And I concur that Lloris has been by far our standout and consistent player so far. Oh and I wouldn't give Andros a 7, more like a 6.

Great thread idea. Glad you did it after this game than West Brom as I suspect there woulde've been a lot of zeros

Lloris 7/10 - Great on Saturday and did really well against West Ham but he's conceded a couple where I think he could've done better and some of his distribution is still poor.


Kaboul 5/10 - Brilliant on Saturday but generally has been poor, giving the ball away a lot. Hopefully this is the start of him getting back to form, it's been too long.

Vertonghen 7/10 - Hasn't played a whole lot but when he has he's been solid, which is what we desperately need at the back.

Chiriches 3/10 - It's very early in the season with plenty of time to change but lets face it, he's been crap so far.

Eric Dier 6/10 - Great start in scoring the goals in his first 2 games but I've seen too many players get the best of him at right back. Very early days still, mind.

Fazio 4/10 - Early days but he's looked a bit error prone. Hopefully this is just a jittery period whilst he tries to settle.

Rose 7/10 Still a bit error prone but he gets forward well and generally defends well too. He was the player everyone loved to hate last season but imo he hasn't changed, the people that didn't rate him have.

Naughton 6/10 - Sending off was harsh but it was a stupid thing to do in his own box, other than that he's started the season well.

Davies 6/10 - Similar to Vertonghen in that he's been solid but unspectacular against the weaker opposition he's faced but unlike Jan he hasn't had the chance to prove himself in a bigger game so it's difficult to give him more than a 6.


Benjamin Stambouli 5/10 - Signs that he could be a good buy but not enough so far.

Étienne Capoue 7/10 - He's had a couple of poor games but he's also had a couple of very good games. Hoping we'll see better and better from him as the season goes on.

Paulinho 4/10 - Looks rusty but still seems to pop up as a threat in the box. He's the type of player we need in many ways but fitting him into the team is hard, especially when he's playing badly. I wouldn't mind seeing him pushed out onto the right for a bit, it would give him a bit more time on the ball and shouldn't effect his ability to get into the box.

Mousa Dembélé 6/10 - Looked a new player when returning but like many of the team he reverted back to the AVB ways against West Brom but unlike others hasn't had the chance to make up for it.

Nabil Bentaleb 6/10 - He's been useful but unspectacular so far.

Christian Eriksen 5/10 - Nowhere near his best so far and we'll need him to find form soon.

Ryan Mason 8/10 - There's not been much to judge him on but he's brought his good preseason form into the games he's played so far. Great goal against Forest.

Aaron Lennon 5/10 - Works hard and defends well as always, don't think he's offered us anything going forward though.

Erik Lamela 8/10 - He's had a big impact in games against the weaker opposition. Not putting together complete performances in the bigger games but his hard work and team ethic is always on show.

Andros Townsend 6/10 - A few flashes of what he can do mixed in with a lot of his usual head down, taking too long on the ball. It's so frustrating because he has the potential to be a great player.

Nacer Chadli 9/10. Scored goals and plenty of them. Not so impressed with his general play in most games but **** it, he scores goals!


Roberto Soldado 4/10 - Like Paulinho he looks very rusty. Think he needs to ignore what's going on behind him and concentrate on making a nuisance of himself with defenders. Too often he's out of position or flatfooted when we play the ball into the box.

Emmanuel Adebayor 5/10 - I reckon if we averaged it out he probably has one good moment a game. It's always extremes with Ade though, leave him out for awhile and see how he reacts, if it doesn't give him a boot up the arse then let him see out his contract sulking, I'd rather see Kane on the pitch giving his all.

Harry Kane 6/10 - Decent start, deserves to have played much more than he has so far.

Hugo - 9 - Been great... As usual.
Vorm - 7 - One game, done fine.

Naughton - 7.5 - Unlucky against West Ham, has been solid in all other games, was especially good vs Arsenal.
Dier - 8.25 - Incredible debut, great home debut too. Has looked much better than I think any of us expected, fantastic prospect, versatile too.
Kaboul - 7 - Up until where he was brilliant vs Arsenal, he'd been very poor. Hopefully the dark days are behind him. Would've graded him a 5 but the Arsenal games was worthy of a 10.
Vertonghen - 7 - Looked fine in most of his games, great against Arsenal.
Chiriches - 2 - Two games, two dreadful performances. Worst player by a mile so far.
Fazio - 7 - Looked solid in both games, made a poor mistake which luckily didn't cost us against Partizan but bar that, promising start from the new guy.
Rose - 7.5 - Had a very good start, I don't particularly like the guy's attitude and his performances last season were dog s**t but it's been a complete turnaround this season, kept his place on merit.
Davies - 7 - Solid, little shaky vs Partizan but has been fine in other games. Definitely has potential to become 1st choice down the line. Good competition for the time being for Rose though.

Bentaleb - 7.5 - Great in first two games of season, got pushed out the side in recent games but has done nothing wrong in fairness. He may not do anything spectacular but he does a lot of dirty work, an asset to this squad.
Dembele - 6.5 - Feel he could be so much better, has done ok but will need to do more if he wants continued first team football.
Paulinho - 5 - Good against Limassol, anonymous in others. Not sure what's happened to the guy, fatigue can't be an excuse anymore.
Stambouli - 7 - Solid start in his first couple of games, could be a crucial player when trying to protect a lead.
Capoue - 8 - Incredible to think that under Sherwood he was left out of the squad at times and now he's arguably one of the first names on the team sheet after Lloris.
Mason - 7.5 - One and a bit games but he's managed a spectacular goal and a solid performance away at the Emirates. Can't ask for much more than that really.
Chadli - 8.75 - Hello Mr FC Twente. Hello 4 league goals. The Chad-meister is here.
Lamela - 7 - Far cry from last season, has a few assists though has blown a bit cold in periods of games. Up the consistency level and we'll have the gem we've been waiting for.
Eriksen - 6.5 - Done ok, nowhere near last season's form though. Can and will get better, of that I'm sure.
Townsend - 6 - Blown hot and cold.
Lennon - 6 - Not seen enough to convince me he deserves his first team place back. Solid option though.

Adebayor - 6 - Solid start but has faded badly. Should be dropped for a couple of games.
Soldado - 6.5 - Not had many opportunities but has a couple of goals to his name.
Kane - 7 - Really good in most of his opportunities except the Partizan game, probably his worst appearance in a Spurs shirt.

To grade Poch - 7 - Ok start, will hopefully work out his preferred first XI soon so we get a bit of consistency. I'm confident in the guy. Think we'll have a good future with him.

I liked SoS' format, so I've nicked it:

Hugo - 8. Been largely his impressive self, but had at least one off day and hasn't improved on his weaknesses. Distribution, primarily. Still our best player.
Vorm - 6. Played once, had little to do, but didn't do anything wrong.

Naughton - 7. Solid and unspectacular, never moans and plays wherever he's asked. Not a world beater, but seems to have cut out most of his errors.
Dier - 7. Very promising and has scored a couple, but I don't think that he's a right-back and he's been caught out on occasion. Decent start.
Kaboul - 6. Has veered wildly from average to dire and then excellent against Arsenal. Doesn't suit the high line and pairs up poorly with Chiriches.
Vertonghen - 7. Still has a crappy attitude and is miles off his best form for us, but he did ok against Forest and was very good on Saturday.
Chiriches - 3. Just back from a long injury, but he was awful against West Brom and dodgy against Sunderland.
Fazio - 6. Looks understandably nervy and he's clearly unfamiliar with things, but he's done ok.
Rose - 7. Still diving in too much and his final ball needs a lot of work, as does his anger management, but he's doing well. Easily first choice in his position at the moment.
Davies - 5. Finding things hard, but there are flashes of why we brought him in. Needs time and games.

Bentaleb - 6. Works hard, gets involved a lot, but has little impact. Makes a lot of passes, but not much comes of them. Tons of potential.
Dembele - 6. Another one where he's had moments of showing what he can do, but without sustaining any form. Two steps forward, two steps back.
Paulinho - 4. Often anonymous and then does the odd decent thing, before disappearing back into the woodwork. Not being used correctly, IMHO.
Stambouli - 6. Looks like a potential Pochettino player. Works hard, does the gritty stuff and still shows some skills and flair. Promising start.
Capoue - 8. Our best and most important outfield player at the moment. All round midfielder who isn't flashy but does his job and starts quick attacks. Very good.
Mason - 7. Spectacular goal against Forest and involved against Arsenal. Earned his opportunity in pre-season and grabbed it in the cup. Good to see.
Chadli - 7. Scoring and looking dangerous, but needs to get involved more. His role is a bit undefined, but a run in the side might help him to push on. Decent start.
Lamela - 6. Working hard, getting fouled a **** ton, slightly overdoing the dribbling, but his passing's improving in the last third and he's getting better all the time. Encouraging.
Eriksen - 5. Seems to have lost his momentum from last season and is unsure of his current role. Set-pieces have dropped off, too. Putting in the effort, though.
Townsend - 6. Back from a long injury and improving in every game, despite being played on the right a lot. Still needs to sort out his decision making, but at least he's trying difficult things and doesn't let his head drop.
Lennon - 4. Useless on the left, yet comes on down the right as a sub and works pretty well. Poor start, but I don't blame him. Needs to play on the right or not at all.

Adebayor - 6. Runs about a lot, but gets little service and is almost shocked when he gets in a scoring position. Lacking confidence.
Soldado - 5. Simply not suited to the system, but he comes alive when he's paired up with another striker and someone's looking to put him in on goal.
Kane - 7. Getting bits and bobs of games, but fighting for every minute and unsettles defenders. Scoring and creating chances. Doing well.

Pochettino - 6. Still getting to know the team and the squad. Trying a few things and some of it simply isn't working. Open to change and isn't afraid to give fringe players a shot. Not bad.

Erik Lamela - 7.5/10 - Slightly off the boil recently (still got an assist against the scum), but much, much improved from last year. Keep playing him, maybe with Soldado if Ade is gonna be dropped) and I'm sure he'll continue to impress. Read somewhere that he has 6 assists already - fair play.

Interesting thread, OP. Ratings a little on the generous side, the way I like them, too.

Yes, Lamela has three assists in the PL, two in the Europa and one in the League Cup. Those last three are interesting because he's played less than 90 minutes total outside of the PL, I think. The two in the Europa turned 1-0 into 1-2. He's also the PLs most fouled player.

Too bad he hasn't found his scoring boots. Even so, he's the liveliest player we have by a good distance.

You might have been a bit harsh on Eiriksen. He's done what he's been asked to do, and done it reasonably well. He's made a lot of good passes, even if they haven't led to anything. His tackle started the goal scoring sequence against Arsenal. I think Pochettino has to sit down and reconsider what he's asking him to do. On the other hand, he may be a much better player behind two strikers than one.

I think despite the lack of PL points the team is moving forward reasonably well. The biggest concerns may be whether Eriksen and Ade can be anywhere near as effective for Pochettino as they were for Sherwood.

It is interesting how unpredictable things can be. I'm sure we all thought the best players of the seven Bale money arrivals at this point in the season would be Capoue and Chadli. (They edge Lamela, I think.) Capoue has always been very good for us, really, he just got hurt and didn't play much after that last year. But Chadli's virtues of positional discipline, often good if sometimes awful finishing, and enough hard-headedness to not get phased by much of anything have certainly served him well this year.

It does go to show how much difference being given the right role, and getting on a good roll, can make.

I liked SoS' format, so I've nicked it:

Hugo - 8. Been largely his impressive self, but had at least one off day and hasn't improved on his weaknesses. Distribution, primarily. Still our best player.
Vorm - 6. Played once, had little to do, but didn't do anything wrong.

Naughton - 7. Solid and unspectacular, never moans and plays wherever he's asked. Not a world beater, but seems to have cut out most of his errors.
Dier - 7. Very promising and has scored a couple, but I don't think that he's a right-back and he's been caught out on occasion. Decent start.
Kaboul - 6. Has veered wildly from average to dire and then excellent against Arsenal. Doesn't suit the high line and pairs up poorly with Chiriches.
Vertonghen - 7. Still has a crappy attitude and is miles off his best form for us, but he did ok against Forest and was very good on Saturday.
Chiriches - 3. Just back from a long injury, but he was awful against West Brom and dodgy against Sunderland.
Fazio - 6. Looks understandably nervy and he's clearly unfamiliar with things, but he's done ok.
Rose - 7. Still diving in too much and his final ball needs a lot of work, as does his anger management, but he's doing well. Easily first choice in his position at the moment.
Davies - 5. Finding things hard, but there are flashes of why we brought him in. Needs time and games.

Bentaleb - 6. Works hard, gets involved a lot, but has little impact. Makes a lot of passes, but not much comes of them. Tons of potential.
Dembele - 6. Another one where he's had moments of showing what he can do, but without sustaining any form. Two steps forward, two steps back.
Paulinho - 4. Often anonymous and then does the odd decent thing, before disappearing back into the woodwork. Not being used correctly, IMHO.
Stambouli - 6. Looks like a potential Pochettino player. Works hard, does the gritty stuff and still shows some skills and flair. Promising start.
Capoue - 8. Our best and most important outfield player at the moment. All round midfielder who isn't flashy but does his job and starts quick attacks. Very good.
Mason - 7. Spectacular goal against Forest and involved against Arsenal. Earned his opportunity in pre-season and grabbed it in the cup. Good to see.
Chadli - 7. Scoring and looking dangerous, but needs to get involved more. His role is a bit undefined, but a run in the side might help him to push on. Decent start.
Lamela - 6. Working hard, getting fouled a **** ton, slightly overdoing the dribbling, but his passing's improving in the last third and he's getting better all the time. Encouraging.
Eriksen - 5. Seems to have lost his momentum from last season and is unsure of his current role. Set-pieces have dropped off, too. Putting in the effort, though.
Townsend - 6. Back from a long injury and improving in every game, despite being played on the right a lot. Still needs to sort out his decision making, but at least he's trying difficult things and doesn't let his head drop.
Lennon - 4. Useless on the left, yet comes on down the right as a sub and works pretty well. Poor start, but I don't blame him. Needs to play on the right or not at all.

Adebayor - 6. Runs about a lot, but gets little service and is almost shocked when he gets in a scoring position. Lacking confidence.
Soldado - 5. Simply not suited to the system, but he comes alive when he's paired up with another striker and someone's looking to put him in on goal.
Kane - 7. Getting bits and bobs of games, but fighting for every minute and unsettles defenders. Scoring and creating chances. Doing well.

Pochettino - 6. Still getting to know the team and the squad. Trying a few things and some of it simply isn't working. Open to change and isn't afraid to give fringe players a shot. Not bad.

I would agree with almost every word of that! Though I think 7 is a bit generous for Naughton and Vertonghen since Rose gets a 7 too and he's been one of our best players so far this season. Though I have not been a fan up to now I do think he's earned his place ahead of Davies without question.

Think Mason's 7 is a bit generous too. He scored a great goal but is being made to look incisive and creative more by the lack of ability and incision around him I think.

I also like that you've given Lamela both a 6 and some positive comments. I think both a relatively lowly score and some positive comments are both accurate. I still think he does really very little of any effect in games and he loses possession more often than not, it seems (and not through trying to do anything that difficult either). But he does seem to have something about him and if he can stop running down blind alleys and intentionally buying fouls when he could get away from defenders he could still be a top player. Maybe.

(And on that topic I really don't see why Lamela being fouled so much is seen by some as a positive statistic - most of the fouls against him are due to him slowing down and inviting the foul. Which results in the play being broken up, our attacking momentum being lost and another short free kick 40 yards from goal that we do bugger all with. It's not like he's being sent flying because defenders just don't know what to do with him as he drives towards goal - he just allows defenders to get close and then accepts a slight barge or knock. It's not diving but it does seem very negative to me).

I know this is an odd time to be doing this, but wondered what everyone's ratings (/10) are for the players so far.

Here's mine:

Hugo Lloris - 9/10 - For me he has been our best player this season so far. He seems very composed, I never get that 'worry' that he's going to mess up a backpass or drop a standard save



Younès Kaboul - 7.5/10 - Obviously he was oustanding against the scum, and rightly deserved the MOTM award. The signs are there that he is gradually getting back to the level he used to be - happy for him to keep starting.

Jan Vertonghen - 7/10 - I hope he keeps starting and goes on to form the partnership with Kaboul that we all crave. Attitude seems better this season, and whilst there's obviously something going on with regards to his not signing a new contract, on the field he's been pretty consistent.

Vlad Chiricheș - 5/10 - Hasn't featured much, I can't really remember him impressing me.

Eric Dier - 7/10 - Started well with the 2 goals in 2 matches. Impressed with him, his versatility will be useful throughout the season. A real gem.

Federico Fazio - 5/10 - I saw him play in a Europa League match. I think he got fairly ok reviews but I remember not being particularly impressed. Definitely think he will come good, but so far I've yet to see it.

Danny Rose - 8/10 - Consistent, solid, starting to look the business. Currently keeping Davies out of the team, and rightly so. Maybe this could be a repeat of Lennon upping his game once we bought Bentley.

Kyle Naughton - 7/10 - I thought he might have moved on in the summer, but has actually been pretty solid this season. Hard to call whether him or Dier should be starting the RB slot.

Ben Davies - 6/10 - Not had the impact I hoped, but still early days.



Benjamin Stambouli - I will abstain from giving him a rating as I cannot recall much about his performances (perhaps that is a sign)

Étienne Capoue - 8/10 - Playing like he did at the start of last season, he's made that defensive midfield position his own. Very impressed.

Paulinho - 4/10 - Just not working for him. Poch has tried him as the number 10 behind Kane in Europa matches, but he just doesn't seem to have any impact. He's dropped so far down the pecking order (surely behind Mason now) that I don't know if I'd miss him if he left.

Mousa Dembélé - 6.5/10 - I've not been overly impressed, but also don't think he's done much too bad

Nabil Bentaleb - 7/10 - Great to see him continuing his development. People have raved about how he does the simple stuff well, short passes etc.

Christian Eriksen - 5/10 - One of my favourite players, things just don't seem to be working for him right now. Should he be dropped? It's hard to say, he's capable of magic and I'd hate to miss out on his free kicks.

Ryan Mason - 7/10 - Early days, can't wait to see more of him though. Seems passionate about the club, which is great.

Aaron Lennon - 6.5/10 - In my mind he has suddenly become one of the 'veterens' on the club - no longer a starter but an experienced head we can bring on to help with defensive duties or lead counter attacks.

Andros Townsend - 7/10 - Had a good game recently, but not set the world alight. Says he thinks he can shine in Poch's system once he gets used to it - we'll see.

Nacer Chadli - 8/10 - I have a mate who supports Sunderland who asked in the summer the likelihood of them getting Chadli on loan for the season, and I replied something along the lines of "probably, he's done f** all for us". Now our top scorer with 4 goals in 5 appearances, he's proving me wrong. Fair play to him, growing in confidence and a definite starter these days.



Roberto Soldado - 6.5/10 - Injuries have kept him out of the team for much of the season. Still think he's an intelligent player, hoping his gets a run of a few games. Seen some pundits suggest he needs a striking partner - maybe try him alongside Kane.

Emmanuel Adebayor - 6.5/10 - He's been involved in some of our play, but not scored enough goals. As we all already know, seemed lacklustre and lazy against the scum. I'd like to see Soldado played next match.

Harry Kane - 7/10 - Completely justified his position as third striker in my eyes - got a few goals, some nice link up. Keep going Harry!

I agree with the LLoris rating but not sure about his kicking, seems to miss hit when under pressure
