    From best to worst:

    Lloris 9
Capoue 8 has had a few key passes in addition to being a very solid DM
Chadli 8 half our PL goals.
Lamela 8 turned the Limassol and Arsenal games. Like Dier, he really scraps. I can see giving him a seven, but I hate to think where we'd be without him. Assisted on half of Chadli's goals, for one thing.
Rose 7 May deserve to be ranked above Lamela.
Dier 7 Got us three points at West Ham. Entertaining. I loved his tackle on Balotelli, among others. That he got penalized for Allen's dive and Ade didn't get a pen for a more blatant, two-handed hold is a steaming pile of horseshit.
Bentaleb 7 When he came on against Arsenal, he made one of his smooth, quick tackles in the box and Arsenal didn't threaten again. Coincidence? Or does he do DM tasks very well?
Kaboul 7 Very up and down, but brilliant against Arsenal.
Kane 7 Deserves more time, considering how hard he's worked and how often he's scored.
Eriksen 6 I think he needs the green light to shoot and cross. I hope that's all he needs, anyway.
Vertonghen 6 Decent but no more till the NLD, where he was good.
Mason (inc.) 6 Turned the game against Forest, but I wasn't as impressed with him vs. Arsenal as everyone else.
Ade 6 I always seem to have more patience with Ade than most.
Soldado 6 Has scored a couple of goals, but I haven't seen him pass the way he did for much of last year.
Stambouli (inc.) 6 I think he'll be good, but hasn't played much yet.
Fazio (inc.) 5 A little shaky in one appearance.
Lennon 5 Either past his best, unable to play on the left, or both.
Townsend 5 He's lively alright, but the liveliness tends to end in Row Z.
Chiriches 3 Produced a goal pressing in the Europa, but hasn't done much else right so far.
Paulinho 3 I don't know what's wrong with him. I swear I've seen him play well last year, but it's a fading memory. Still has a goal and an assist.

Pochettino: 7 Reasonably promising start in most ways, except our PL point total.
    Here's the task list

    1. Get us playing better football: Done reasonably well here, though not against teams that park the bus.
    2. Do better in the derbies: Big check: four points in two away games.
    3. Get more out of the Bale signings: Pretty big check.
    4. Don't get mullered against the top teams: half credit.
    5. Develop the Plan B and C he wasn't known for at Southampton. Check.
    6. Do well in the PL: not so far
    7. Use the whole squad: Big check.
    8. Do well in the cups: so far so good, but it's early days. Extra credit for averaging 10 changes, especially as it shows he's got nerve, which any Spurs manager will need.
Spurs: 7 Seem to be moving in the right direction, despite disappointing PL points so far.
