I don't see them as being too good to go down. There's a reason that they bossed the championship but now they're in the prem are a couple of points above relegation and looking likely to drop further down, which is that the championship is the right level for that team and Benitez isn't a good enough manager to get them punching above their weight.

I'd say the bulk of their points up to now were gained on the back of the high spirits that inevitably come with getting promoted in style but that's gone now and so have the wins.

They could turn it around of course because anything can happen with a few wins (not that we'd bloody know) but I'd say they're as good a candidate as any in the arse end of the league to go down.

They are quiet at the moment. I've been calling them all out on the premier league board but they're refusing to show their faces when I keep tagging them <laugh>

They were like flies around **** a couple of months back.

If they don't get this takeover, they'll drop. There's not a doubt in my mind about that.

They've never really ventured over here much during our undoing, it's cause they know our downfall at the hands of others still doesn't trump their downfall at the direct hands of us. they know they played no part in our downfall, they couldn't if they tried has been the rule of thumb for a while now. We relegated, them, did them 6 in a row, and that makes us the top dogs and they know it even though they'll deny it. We still laugh loudest. :1980_boogie_down:

It’s really not far from going completely Pete Tong.

Ashley has pretty much said he’s not going to invest in January and this takeover doesn’t look to be happening any time soon if at all.

Rafa the messiah constantly making excuses now it’s going wrong despite being backed to the hilt, he’s just bought complete ****e.

It’s quite good to watch despite the mountain of **** we find ourselves sitting at the top of.
